I wanted something simple and inexpensive for my office, to pair with some chairs I purchased. This fit the theme really well.Just a few things to note:The reviewer who spoke about opening the box like a pizza box and doing all the assembly in the box, then flipping the table up and out when completed, is 1000% correct, that's the easiest and least messy way to do it!The complaints about it being paper and not wood are also correct. I'm not sure why anyone would expect wood at this price point, I was expecting MDF, and I suspect that the table top is indeed MDF. I was surprised to learn that these things have gotten so cheaply made as to use a thin laminated paper for the surface, but it is what it is. I would not use this table for anything that could bring moisture to the surface, it's really just a decor piece than it is functional. Like a lamp a faux plant.However, if it does ever get damaged, I'll just peel off the paper and paint it black. For the $$, I know not to expect much more than that.

I was worried about this purchase because some reviews were bad. It is sturdy, great design and the table top is strong and does not look flimsy or cheap. Reviews mention that the surface pealed off, but maybe the company improved their product because mine seems like a solid piece of concrete even though it is a fake.

Look great in my basement! Love that they are round so. I toddlers hit a sharp edge!
