Yak cheese chews have been a great find for my dog, they’re the perfect middle ground between rawhide and an actual bone. The texture is firm enough to keep him busy for a long time but slowly breaks down, which keeps him mentally stimulated as he works through it. It does leave a bit of a mess.One bonus: you can microwave the last bit of the chew to make it more brittle and easier to finish off. Just be warned, it sometime smells when heated, and it puffs up quite a bit. That said, my dog absolutely loved the new texture and challenge. Great long-lasting chew with some versatility.

My dogs faves! these last a while for my XL dogs. I read somewhere when it got small you could microwave and it did make it larger but it then kind of shattered everywhere so I dont advise on doing that.

My dogs (and myself) love these chews. They last really long and don't leave a mess behind. I have a couple heavy chewers, a Bulldog and a Labrador. Typically any chewing treat only lasts a couple hours these last for days. I am signed up for a subscription.

Both my super chewers, who LOVE these kinds of bones, really enjoyed these bones. If I could I would give them a 9/10 because they were delivered quickly, as expected, lasted just as long as other brands, but were STINKY when microwaved. Honestly, these are great, I just didn’t enjoy the smell of my kitchen for a good 15 minutes after I microwaved the remnants.

These are great! My pittie/staffy mix chews them for a bit, and then I puff them in the microwave. They are like a toothbrush, for dogs who don't like having their teeth brushed! Be ready to vacuum or have them eat them outside once they are puffed up, but worth every crumb to see her teeth SO white. Very few ingredients. And she loves them!

Very large dog (100+ lbs), and he loves these. Takes a few days to get down to a nub. They recommend to take away when it's a nub and that is good advice so the dog doesn't try to swallow and choke on it. He loves having something to chew that he can eat.

I've bought these in the past and have always been very happy with their digestability and how long it took my dog to go through thrm, but the last ones I received last time are much softer. My moderate chewer was able to go through an entire cheese in about 20-25 minutes. In the past, they would last for over a week. I'm not sure if it was an issue with the batch not hardening enough or the process has changed somehow, but it is dissapointing. Other than that, they're a good product, a great price for the size and amount of cheese you get, and my dog loves them. I will purchase them again in the future, but if they continue to be as soft and quick for my dog to eat as the last batch, I may try other brands.

Our sweet Irish Wolfhound, who’s missing a few molars, absolutely loves this Mighty Paw Yak Cheese Chew. It’s the perfect texture for him—not too hard, but still long-lasting and satisfying. Plus, no odor and great for his oral health! Unfortunately, it arrived broken, which was a bit disappointing—otherwise, it would’ve been 5 stars. We’ll definitely order again and hope for better packaging next time.
