functionality & quality OOB
what a fantastic clamp tester. I have tried several and ultimately settled on this one. Price and quality are great for DIYer.

Feels heavy-duty. Not like others cheap lightweights.
Very impressive little machine.Feels solid not cheap..As I have had many meters in the past but this is my first clamp machine...Very happy with it and didn't break my wallet....Easy to use.5 stars...đź‘ŤAlso batteries come installed so it's ready to go! Love it!

After 8 Months of Use
This clamp meter worked great and was easy to use. Only two downsides:No holders for the probes.After about seven months, the mode selector became inconsistent. Sometimes continuity, resistance, or voltage modes don’t activate on the first try. I have to turn it off and try again, then it works.Considering the price, it was worth it as a first multimeter. But I think it’s better to spend more and get a Milwaukee, which is what I’ll do.

Yes this can test capacitors in your hvac unit !
Bought this multimeter because it had the ability to test capacitors, something that is important when you diagnosing HVAC problems, this one worked perfectly, the results were very accurate and I found out the capacitor was not the problem !

Good performance at a good price
A real value for such a capable meter. Did a Design of Experiments comparing it with a Fluke and found identical performance. Pricing was right, 6000 count, fit, finish, and especially the construction and durability seem good to slightly above average, but time will tell.

Works, read the review
Read carefully the functions, it does work well, does what the functions list at a tenth of the price of a Fluke. Inductive actually does work fairly well if you follow instructions carefully. But have not checked it for total accuracy on inductive amps either. It also seems cheaper made but more durable than the Fluke meter also.
