Nice easy swap just push old switch unit out, click this into place then plug in to connecting socket

Octavia power windows working again - hopefully a useful overview of my fitting experience
Firstly, fantastic to be able to buy such a part so cheaply. Once fitted all the buttons are now working again. Prior to the new switch unit the driver side window control panel would work inconsistently.Fitting:Check youtube for video on removing the inner door handle and make sure you leaver out in the same sequence.The switch unit is a pig to remove due to 3 clips either side. I placed shims in the sides whilst I pushed the unit out. The middle clips make this very difficult and frustrating. Personally I think 2 clips either side would have been sufficient. Suspect these things are designed for assembly rather than repair.Before you clip the new switch block into the handle test the switch loose just in case you have faulty unit. Then check the middle switch (rear window lock button) fits the handle cutout. This was a bit tight on mine so I filed the handle cutout to allow the switch to operate.With all this done all that remains is to clip the switch unit back in the handle, connect the electrical connector and clip the handle back in the door.Hope this saves you some pain.

Verrouillage vitres arrieres
Le bouton de blocage des vitres arrieres pour que les enfants ne puissent pas actionner l'ouverture ou la fermeture des vitre ne fonctionne que si on reste appuyé dessus ce qui le rend inutile.

Roomster 2009 - läuft perfekt!
Sieht aus wie das Original und funktioniert auch so. Knackige Druckpunkte und leuchtet im typischen Skoda-Grün, nur ne Stufe heller. Prima!Installation läuft folgendermaßen: Nehmt einen flachen Kunststoffkeil und hebelt die Fensterheber-Taster-Konsole aus der Tür. Zieht den Stecker ab und macht ihn an der Verkleidung fest, dass er nicht hinter die Verkleidung fällt. Clipst die alten Taster aus dem Gehäuse heraus ( links und rechts zwei Haltenasen) und setzt den neuen Taster ins Gehäuse. Stecker wieder dran und die Konsole wieder in die Verkleidung einhängen. Fertig! Macht vorher unbedingt einen Funktionstest
