Amazing Product
I am a professional dog groomer who loves this product. It has a delightfully fresh scent and is non-greasy. I use it both as a leave-in conditioner and as a spot treatment lotion for areas that have ongoing yeast issues. I have treated those areas with this product and seen the yeast disappear with regular application. It's really an amazing product that I highly recommend.

Please try this. Your dog will be so thankful.
I'm going to use this review for both the shampoo and conditioner as I purchased both at the same time. I decided to try this because I have used the zymox ear solution for my lab mix for about a year now with fantastic results.I have a black lab mix with some pretty severe skin conditions. If you own a lab you know, the vet isn't always the best option when it comes to allergies and ear infections. Not only would you be in there every month for something new (and spend a freakin' fortune) eventually the antibiotics would stop working making the problems even worse. 2 years ago I switched his food to grain free. That has helped some but it wasn't the be all end all to his skin issues. So he's allergic to grass and pollen. And fleas. The thing with flea meds is that I can use them until I can't. The fall is the worst. He goes outside and gets bit with the flea meds on and starts to itch and chew. Eventually he has open wounds all over his body at which point I don't feel comfortable putting chemicals on him. I worry that it will get into his blood stream, and so I stop with the chemicals. I have to physically stop him from chewing by putting a cone on him. I use cortisone cream and sometimes calamine lotion. Oh and he takes claritin year round at the vets suggestion.Anyway I decided to give this a try since I've had amazing results with their ear solution. On the 21st I bathed him with the shampoo and patted him dry. I applied the conditioner as a lotion per instructions on the bottle. He had so many bald scabbed over patches. His entire belly was bald and red and inflamed. Behind his ears and his butt, even his legs. He was so miserable. You guys, while I was putting the lotion on I could almost hear him thanking me. He was so grateful it broke my heart. I rubbed it into the bad spots really good.On the 22nd I rubbed more conditioner into his bad spots. Lots of scabbed came off. It was disgusting, but again he seemed so relived as I was applying it. He was still itching and chewing that day but it was a little bit less. It gave me a little hope that this might work for us.Today, the 23rd, I just got done applying more conditioner to his bad spots. He laid down on his side while I was getting his belly. He softly wagged his tail the entire time. I'm convinced he knows that this is helping his 'itchies.' A lot of the redness has abated. He's chewing and scratching a lot less. Fewer scabs fell off this time too. I wasn't planning on this working so quickly. I was going to give it 2 full weeks before I started to expect results. I'm just in awe. I really am.Please try this. Your dog will be so thankful. Zymox is a brand I will purchase without question from now on. If they have a product for what ails my dog, I will try it. And I won't try it hopefully. I will try it expectantly because all 3 of their products I have used have literally changed my life and bettered my dogs quality of life. I am really grateful to this company and their products. And yeah, that's sappy as all hell. But if you're reading this you know the heartbreak of having a miserable dog who looks to you for help. Being able to help him means so much to me.

This works incredibly well with the shampoo!
So far, so good. Let me give you some background information on my dog since that is what I was looking for when I was reading reviews. We have a 6-1/2 year old pit mix female. Around the age of one year, she started having skin issues ranging from redness to itching to hair loss - the whole nine yards. We spent several thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars on veterinary care including visits to a veterinary dermatologist. She had undergone your standard steroid therapies (which no one pet wants to endure) and had even had sulfur-lime dips (that our former vet said would "cure" her.) She had been on a raw diet, tried holistic remedies such as coconut oil, ACV, etc. When I say we tried everything, I mean we tried everything available at those times. She was diagnosed with a bacterial yeast overgrowth on her skin as her primary skin issue, and she also had seasonal allergies as well. Our former vet wanted to put her on Atopica, but after reading the various pharmacology results, we decided against it and changed vets. Right now...our dog is on Apoquel, but Apoquel does not "solve" or "treat" the issue. It only helps alleviate the body's response. We had been bathing her with other shampoos when I came across Zymox. Knowing how well Zymox works for her ears, I read some reviews and took the plunge to buy both shampoo and enzymatic rinse conditioner. We bathed her with Zymox, and the first time we used the enzymatic rinse (sort of like cream rinse for humans,) I rubbed it on her and let it dry. I was skeptical about this because in the past, leave-on type of conditioners and "protectants" left a film that would dry and flake. The day after we bathed her the first time with Zymox, the redness subsided on her skin (she was having a particularly bad flare up from environmental allergies.) She also stopped itching as much. She itched here and there, but when we opted to do baths on one day and rubbing some of the enzymatic conditioning rinse (which can be used like a rinse, watered down as a spray, or rubbed in as-is) on the other days (every other day,) she has greatly improved. We will begin adding in some digestive enzymes and probiotics in her grain-free, low starch kibble, and go from there. However, if you're looking for immediate relief for an itchy dog (keep in mind...this is not a treatment...this is solely to help alleviate the symptoms. You need to seek veterinary assistance for a diagnosis) this is it. We now keep a spray bottle of conditioning rinse and use the rinse "straight as is" in problem areas.

Definitely works for dry skin and flakiness on my German shepherd
I bought this because my 12 year old German shepherd started getting dandruff and started itching so much. She absolutely loves this and it moisturizers her skin and she looks so shiny and beautiful. Just like a puppy I would definitely recommend this and you can leave it on for deeper conditioning for her coat. It smells great too!!

Smells so good
Love the smell of this dog conditioner, and it helped with tangles on my Maltese. I even mix a spoonful with a bottle of water to squirt on her hair between baths. Would definitely recommend.
