After reading about noisy pump I was a bit worried but mine arrived today and is perfect. No noisy pump. Lovely trickle water sound. All I need to do now is extend the pump lead to reach power point in the garden.Very pleased and would recommend 👌

I ordered one of these and unfortunately the pump made such a noise it was like listening to a building site. The company sent me a replacement and I have a similar issue. They then sent me a different product which has no also broken. £100+ down the pan.Looks good but a waste of money unfortunately

The media could not be loaded. The water feature is very attractive to look at but the pump made a horrible noise.I looked at other reviews in desperation and noticed someone put bubble wrap around the bottom of the metal barrel.I tried this and as if by magic total silence, except for the peaceful sound of the flowing water. Thank you to the clever reviewer you are a genius and have stopped me pulling my hair out!!

The flow of the water on full flow is probably still a little weak but it is very pleasant to watch and listen to.UPDATE: When I've wrote the above review, I had only tried it out in the house to test that it worked. I put it in the garden only yesterday 19th May, as the instructions advised that it shouldn't be exposed to cold weather. It appeared to work OK initially but after a few hours, stopped working. Alpine sent me another pump. Sadly, exactly the same thing happened, the pump started off ok, then became really noisy. I asked for advice about the noise and they advised sitting the pump on a sponge and surrounding it with sponges. Before I got chance the try this out, the pump had stopped working again. Alpine then sent me a completely new water feature. I was amazed by my excitement was soon squashed when it stopped working again after 1 day. I asked for a refund but was told I would have to ask Amazon to deal with it. Haven't tried yet but not holding my breath.

Assbley straight forward,all done in matter of minutes, in situ and water flowing freely.Extremely pleased with purchase 😀 it enhances garden no end.

The pump is much loader than the water so you’re just listening to a mechanical noise and not water, really upset - can I get a replacement pump? Really disappointed

The feature looks good and is well made and simple to install but the pump supplied is second rate and not strong enough for the feature. Good job the unit was on offer and I didn't pay the RRP. I'm not sure what the pump rate is on the unit supplied but I ended up swapping it for another pump with a flow rate of 1500l/hr and magically the feature now looks good and works well. I needed to buy another pump for a small pond so will use the weaker pump elsewhere - otherwise the unit would've been returned for a full refund.The instructions were also incorrect regarding the flow control on the pump so the manufacturer has possibly changed pump supplier. The company seem to have a "No questions asked" return policy so send it back when it doesn't work properly but they just need to provide a better pump up to the task
