the good and the bad
A well written book, should help author, family , vets and even people such as myself who never served to understand how because of family history went on to serve , becoming a proud member of his units, surviving the ravages of war, returning to continue serving the people by becoming a police officer with a very successful career, but at the same time being "broken" because of these events, getting the help he needed to overcome these issues and become a happier person again. Having lost several of my friend from these "demons" of late, this helps me understand too.

You won't want to put this book down until the end!
The author makes you feel as if you're sitting with him as he's telling his story. He is very candid about his experiences in Vietnam but has a good sense of humor at the same time.

What the American soldier went thru for his country and the pain that last a life time.
The book is well written and lets you in on the trails and tribulation of war and its effect on the human mind and spirit.

What it was really like.
Young men gave so much in so many ways that so few understand.

Excellent story
Gripping story and I couldn’t put it down. Finished the book in one day. The author puts us in his shoes and experience his story through his eyes. Da story definitely worth sharing.
