Bought this for my boys for a homeschool excavation project. They couldn’t get enough of it! Wanted to do the whole set immediately. Great fun and cool bugs! My boys who are 8 and 6 could easily break the molding to get the bugs, no soaking in water required.

Bought these for my pre school class and they loved them!

Have not used yet. Bought these to give out individually and now can't do that until I type up some sort of instructions to hand out to each child. Very disappointed in purchase. Description says it includes cards and photos show instruction cards.

I have now ordered 2 different sets of these for my class. We haven't dug the bugs out yet. Big disappointment tho, was not having the cards. The first set didn't have cards, so ordered second set for cards, no cards. Even tho we will still enjoy them the cards were going to be a big plus.

It takes quite a bit of pressure to dig through the sand. My son cut his hand with the tool after trying hard to get a chunk out- it slipped and tore his skin. We ended up using water to dissolve the sand.
