YKS Game Controller Joystick for Nintendo 64 N64 System,Black

I bought this controller because when i bought my N64 console from a thrift shop the controller it came with had a worn out joystick.This controller is (to my knowledge, for i never owned a N64 in its heyday) exactly like the original, even to the point of having the oval where the Nintendo logo should go while omitting the logo. The only concern I have is that the joy stick is pretty stiff. It makes it difficult to quickly aim a bow (and other precision items) in Zelda:OoT. This doesn't effect any other game play like movement, it just gets difficult when you have to do stuff like shoot fire at torches quickly (in the water temple). That is the only complaint I have and I feel it will get better with more use. Perhaps the original Nintendo controller may have had the same issues too, making this one no different.Any-who I can play the games I want now!

Returned. These are awful. The joystick does not work AT ALL for mario kart, on either of the 2 that I bought.

The controller I got works, but the analog stick is very loose and sometimes moves the character or car to the right. I have to randomly counter the movement and it does get annoying. If only there were a better option to getting replacement controllers.

After releasing a direction on your joystick, the adjacent direction is always slightly pushed, the joystick also wore out after the first two weeks of use. Other than that, if you don't need the joystick, it's a good controller.

Not a smooth range of motion: sort of like joystick has four directions and fourin betweens, instead of 360. brother bought a different brand and in playing mario party 3 together his better joystick seemed to give him an edge. It's decent, everything else works fine, but not going to give you the control you need for smtg like Goldeneye.

Very excited to receive this item because I just purchased an N64. The controller looks like it's in great condition however the joystick doesn't work properly. Very disappointed.

Worked for two weeks. Then joystick part didn’t work. Tried to pull it apart and all of the parts were poorly made. Globs of glue to hold things together. And cabels barely fit in the controller.

the shipping was fine. the controller is junk. i broke after 1 day of extremely light playing ( used it 2x for about 20 minutes)
