Nothing like OtterBox products

So I just got this case today and my first impression as I opened was "10 out of 10"! It doesn't come in a nice fancy package just a normal cardboard box which I'm totally fine with! I didn't wanna rip the cardboard box in case it was a fake and I wanted to return it. I didn't know it came with the holster case as well so I was even more impressed honestly! When I took out of the little plastic bag it came with I saw and immediately thought to myself "that's gonna protect my phone?" (Keep in mind this is the first iPhone i have bought on my own and first case I have bought as well, well good one at least) it did take a little to open up the case because it comes in well technically 3 pieces, the rubber part of the case, and the two hard shell pieces of the case. One thing I can learn from experience from buying this though is read very detailed about the case you buy because I bought it considering the fact I can put a tempered glass screen protected in it but this case already comes with an actually screen protected built in! So I kind of wasted a few bucks there. Going back to the case, it was a little tricky to figure out how to take apart the case to put it on my phone but it's do able. The inside of the case where the back of the iPhone lays actually has a foam type of back so that the iPhone does not get scratched which I thought was a very nice touch to the case. After I put it on and everything, I immediately thought this was so worth what I paid for! The design of this case, the way it feels, how I'm typing this one phone, it just all feels amazing. That it is bulky yes I will not lie but if you're looking for a case to protect your phone you're going to have to settle for a bulky phone case I'm not gonna lie sorry. I have seen a lot of bad reviews but keep in mind of this, 1. Everybody has a different opinion including me, 2. There will be cases that are defected it's gonna happen. That it will happen to you I don't know but it happens people and even machines even make mistakes, 3. People don't fully go into detail of there reviews like how I did on mine like this one, 4. This is a person who does not write reviews that much I only write them if they really WOW me you know? So in conclusion to OtterBox, a job well done guys really a job well done. Would recommend this case to everybody who's willing to listen. Thank you so much!

Good product

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 7+. I suffered through a couple of weeks of using my old OtterBox Defender from my iPhone 6+, which yes it will fit and will work, but not snuggly, and it does not fit around the camera correctly and partially blocks the LED flash. So I bit the bullet and bought this new Defender for the 7+. At first I was skeptical about this seller as I suspected this case was a counterfeit, the price being considerably lower than others. Upon receiving it and comparing it to my 6+ Defender, it obviously is a real OtterBox. I suspect a reason for the lower price is that this case does not come in a pretty retail package - it comes in a plain brown box with the case just rattling around inside with the instruction pamphlet. But if that's what saved me $20 then I'm all for it! But the most pleasant surprise I had was how much better this case fits the 7+ than the previous case fit the 6+. First, a review I read here stated there is no improvement in how the screen protector fits, and that is absolutely WRONG! The screen protector was the only thing I didn't like about the 6+ case, since it was "floppy", with just a slight gap between it and the screen. On this new case, the protector fits tight and snug against the screen, making button pushes and swipes more responsive. And there is not even a hint of the "rainbowing" you read about with other cases that have protectors built in. Overall, the phone just fits more snug and tight in this case. The case also now has a roughed feel around the edge, making it a little more of a sure grip. And even though the quality of the belt clip hasn't changed, the 7+ snaps in and out of the clip more easily than the 6+ did with its case And speaking of the clip, it works great. I use public transportation daily, and on another brand case/clip I had a few years ago, the phone was constantly being pulled off of my belt if it even slightly snagged on something, often without me realizing it. But not the OtterBox clip. It's a very strong clip, and you'll be more likely to pull your pants down if the phone snags than to have the clip come off your belt . I'm very pleased - lower price, better fit, same great belt clip. Five stars!

I’ve been using this kind of case for my iPhone 8 plus since I bought the phone almost 6 years ago. In 3 months it’ll be 6 years. In that time, I’ve had one case only, until today, when I bought a new one, same kind.My phone looks like new still, completely!I have dropped my phone so many times, on concrete even, and my phone has never broken.After 4 years, a few small pieces broke off of the hard shell, but with the outer rubber layer covering it, I didn’t really care, since the case was still fine.The tabs covering the charging port and the buttons, fell off after about 5 years.The screen cover has lasted all these years just fine, and not a tear. The screen on my phone is flawless. After a few years, the screen cover started looking more worn, in the sense that you could see that it was there, but it never affected the efficiency of the touchscreen, and it’s been easy to type through all these years.This case makes the phone sturdy, it’s not slipping in my hand, it’s very comfortable holding.The case started to look a little worn now, but I’d say that with 6 years it’s allowed to!I love this case! It’s kept my phone flawless!
