BEST SMART LOCK on the market.....small, clean design, easy to install.
I've installed just about all the smart locks that are on the market today, and this one is by far the BEST. My issues with other brands I've installed is the overall size of the back of the locks due to the technology on the inside. They all work well, aren't aesthetically pleasing. The Level Lock blends with any door, all technology is embedded into the deadlock, and most would not even know it is a smart lock. I refer to these locks as the Apple of Smart locks. Sleek & Clean product designs, works perfectly, easy to install, and the packaging is beautiful. Worth every penny. I now have two in my home and connected both to Apple Home Kit as I also have several Leviton Lighting Controls and other Smart devices. All integrated onto my Apple Home Kit. I communicate to Siri on when I want my doors open/locked or even the status on if it is open/unlocked. I HIGHLY recommended these Locks. included before and after shots of the install.

Excellent lock with convenience at your fingertips!
This lock is a must have ! No need to look for keys in your bag when your hands are full anymore . This lock is easily replaceable with current lock . Great quality comes with 2 keys. The best part is the door locks & unlocks with the touch of your phone & app. Great value for money at Amazon as these locks range anywhere from $200-$300 on third party websites.

Doesn’t have consistency
I was super stoked about this lock and how seamlessly it claimed to work. Unfortunately the apple HomeKit almost never works remotely, even though my home hub is 4 feet from the door. The Auto Unlock feature when getting home works here and there. Probably works 40% of the time. It’s really convenient when it does but very inconvenient when my hands are full and it doesn’t. I ultimately wanted a smart lock for consistency and to be able to manage access to my home remotely. This lock doesn’t have either of those features in practice, only in advertising. Taking it off my door after 3 days of use.

Promising Smart Lock with Room for Improvement
I've been using the Level Lock Smart Lock for keyless entry, and it's certainly a promising addition to my smart home setup. While it offers some fantastic features, there are a few areas where it could use some improvements. One of the standout features of this smart lock is its automatic locking function. However, I've encountered a minor inconvenience with it. I've set the lock to automatically engage after 1 minute of inactivity, which is great for security. However, it becomes a hassle when I step outside briefly to pick up the mail and return to find the door locked, with my phone inside the house. This forces me to leave the door open until I can retrieve my phone to unlock it manually. It would be incredibly helpful if Level Lock could incorporate a sensor to detect if the door is still ajar before locking automatically.Another area of improvement lies in the unlocking process using the mobile app. Currently, you need to keep the "unlock door" button pressed for a period of time before it unlocks the door. It would be much more user-friendly and efficient if a single press of the button could initiate the unlocking process, eliminating the need to keep the button held down.Despite these minor inconveniences, the Level Lock Smart Lock has proven to be a reliable and secure addition to my home. It's sleek, unobtrusive, and blends seamlessly with my existing door hardware. The app interface is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing for easy management of access codes and monitoring of the lock's status. In conclusion, the Level Lock Smart Lock shows great promise and has the potential to become an even more outstanding smart home device with a few enhancements. If Level Lock can address these issues in future updates, it would undoubtedly make for an even more convenient and user-friendly smart lock solution.

Are there no good smart locks?
I am all-in on the smart home ecosystem. I love all my smart home devices, even the ones that make me frustrated when they don't work how they're supposed to. There's devices that work nearly full time, 24/7/365 without issue. Then there's devices that work 98%+ of the time. Then there's devices that fit into one of those two categories until suddenly there's no telling when they're online, offline, working fine or completely dead. The Level Lock is one of those devices.I own two Level Locks. One is the invisible deadbolt mechanism, the other is this one. Both have given me problems. This one just stopped working one day. No warning. Just dead. Turns out, the battery died. Oops.So I buy this obscure battery that is sold nowhere locally (CR2 battery). Hey, now it doesn't connect anymore. Factory reset time. Works great! Then one day, "device offline". So I open the Level app and connect via bluetooth. Try to set it back up on wi-fi, but no success. Factory reset time. Works great! Then it stopped working again. Can't connect via wi-fi or bluetooth. Factory reset time.If you browse the reddit forums relating to Home Automation, you'll see this is a common issue. There's few truly GOOD smart locks out there. Level had the chance to be the nicest looking, most consistent, and best overall smart lock, but they've dropped the ball. They are battery hogs, even if you don't use any automation features. Simply manually turning the lock with your hand will drain the battery a decent amount. And the connection problems seem to pop up after each firmware update. In the end, I don't have any smart home locks I'd recommend right now. Level is not consistent enough to justify the price nor the headache. If you want a tip, avoid the Level app if you have Home Assistant running on your network. It is far easier to install the lock, start the pairing process and then let HA discover it and add it to your network. I've found it much more useful that way, plus you don't have to have yet another smart home app on your phone that you never use. I'm sure there's features I'm missing by doing it this way, but I think the HA bluetooth connection is much better compared to letting these locks try to communicate via wi-fi.
