Perfect projector for small to medium sized rooms!
This is the first projector that I have purchased. I have always dealt with simple projectors where you connect them to your media and it will just project them to a wall/screen. This does so much more than that! Here are the things I loved about this product: - Simple set up. I took it out of the box and set it up in less than 10 minutes. The product came with a manual. The manual came in English (but in my opinion, it must've been in another language at one point as the grammar wasn't very good). Despite that, it was understandable and I was able to connect it to my wi-fi network very easily. - I was able to use Air Play from my iPhone. I didn't expect this feature (though it did say it in the description). When I connected my phone to the projector, there was no lag at all. I played a video that is stored on my phone. When I connected my phone through my wi-fi, there was some lag, but not very much. I think this is just as good as your wi-fi network and I was able to stream from the Internet through my phone to the projector. - I was very happy with the picture quality. As long as you keep within the recommended max distance, the quality is crisp and clear. Of course you'll also have to follow standards for projecting (such as white opaque screen/wall, dark room, etc.). - Heat output is good. The unit gets warm to the touch, but not hot. I had it running for a full movie. - The speaker is pretty decent. The unit is meant for a small to medium sized room and at max level, the sound filled the room. - Multiple input, including HDMI, USB, AV, VGA and SD card slot. I would most likely only use HDMI and possibly the SD card slot. But it is nice to know that you have these options. - The unit is small and is great to take along on vacations, especially since it will connect to Wi-Fi.Some things that could use some improvement is the power cord. I would make it a little longer, especially since you need to set the projector about 10 ft from the wall/screen.Overall, I believe this unit is worth more than the price. It is a good starter projector and definitely has more features than expected.Disclosure: I receivde this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review.
