Josh is the MAN!
I recently bought and cosumed "BUILT to the HILT" by Josh. And was mesmorized by the section on Powerbuilding. When I saw this book I felt like a kid in a candy store. This guy really, really knows his stuff. The book is loaded with routines out the wazoo. I'm not a youngster (57 as of this writing) but have added a pretty good amount of muscle to my frame in the last 6 years doing Heavy Duty training. That said, I see a major improvement just in the last month by adhering to the regimen he outlined in BUILT to the HILT. Look forward to trying all these routines. Get this book if you want to make gains! Thanks Josh.

Should be on your bookshelf
Tired on not getting stronger? Stuck after a basic program like Starting Strength but unwilling to wade thro some of the thesis' on programing? Me too. I lift for enjoyment and health and I don't want to have to spend a ton of time trying to figure out what to do. This book is a readable (emphasis here) guide to lifting. Yeah, it's powerlifting focused but not exclusive. Short of hiring Mr. Bryant to coach you, it's as good as you're going to get. It's my reference now.

This is a great book that gives a variety of programs from the many greats of the powerlifting world. I"m currently running one of Josh's program that is included in the book. Definitely a change of pace especially with the rest-pause and CAT methods that Josh has incorporated. I can see myself sampling the other programs listed in the book down the road.

absolutely love this book josh bryant has the credentials from the results he has gotten from his clients some are very well known his programming for power lifting strength,body-building,and general conditioning and diet is spot on the two programs i have done so far from this book have helped attain higher numbers for the 3 main powerlifts not to mention better overall strength and conditioning.whatever program you choose from this book will work for you if you are willing to put in the EFFORT to do so

Recommend for beginners and seasoned lifters
This book is an AWESOME manual for strength training...including supplements,workouts and diet for strength and muscle building. I am a former powerlifter who was really sick,had brain surgery, and this helped me get back to 1/2 of my prior level of strength( benched 254 before surgery, 45 afterwards)..This gym is actually only a mile from my apartment. When I get a little stronger,I may get a membership.

A very well written and concise training book that can be used immediately by a beginner to advanced lifter. Josh has worked with my son and myself for three years now and I've been thrilled with our results and his services . This book is a goldmine of great information for a lifter . You won't be disappointed .

Mediocre - Although Tons of Example Routine
Honestly I was hoping for more based on the reviews. Most of the information is generic and very subjective (lots of "bro-science"). This book's redeeming quality is the huge number of routines it provides.

Programs Galore
Nothing was left out from this reference from 2 well known individuals in the fitness field. The book is definitely worth the money. The authors have trained numerous world class athletes and they bring together their experience as coaches and athletes themselves in a well put together book. I just started powerbuilding and the system is fun compared to the usual. Dozens of programs to try.

This book is a must have,over 300 pages full of different routines to build size and strength,great read,50 powerbuilding routines,training programs for building stronger deadlift,squat,bench,program for building neck and traps,programs focused on building back,shoulders,chest,legs...this is one of a well done book without any fancy crap,just pure oldschool training...
