I ordered these because I use two badges to access my office. My previous retractable keychain worked well but was often weighed down by the extra badge.With these, that’s no longer an issue. The gauge of the wire provides substantial support, and the flexible badge clip is much more durable than my last one, effectively eliminating that as a potential point of failure. It also comes with an additional metal key ring, which I’ve been using to keep my emergency keys for restricted access areas close at hand — and it’s been fantastic.Overall, I give this product a 10/10. I expected it to be flimsy despite the “tough” design claim, but I was completely wrong.

Nice little badge holders. I was waiting to write a review until I saw how they held up. I bought some of these back in August, and had to throw the first kne away today. It lasted me about 9 months of daily use. I have my work badge on it, which needs to be scanned at every door I enter/exit. I estimate I pull on it about 40-50 times a day, so it has really held up well. I keep my toolbox keys on it also, so it has about a pound attached to it. For the price it is the best one I've found. Only downside is unlike others it does not have a screw together body to be able to repair it when it does break. But for the price, 2 in a box, 9 months each, I will order these again!

I do not normally write product reviews, but for this product I am making an exception.I have used retractable keychains for many years. This product is by far the best one on the market today that I have found and used. It has the best capacity for weight and is very durable.

Originally purchased January 2023 and found this to be pretty good quality. The first one gave me an issue were the plastic ended up deteriorating and snapping, but for both of them the only issue that happened is the protective cover on the cable wore away and the steel cable started fraying. Just be careful to not get poked. To get over a year of use 5 days a week for each this product and price point is hard to best for me.

Love how robust this product is! The steel cable is fantastic and I know it will not break. The plastic parts seem robust and since this is a smaller device, the plastic should hold up for many years. Little larger than I hoped but that's okay. Have used it for a couple weeks now and I think it's good to go. Seems very durable.

Heavy duty badge holder, holds up quite well for every day use. Can hold a lot of keys also. It has definitely lasted me at least a year of every day use. Which is about 8 months longer than your normal retractable badge holder. Good metal clip for clipping on to pant or uniform. Easy to remove with one hand.Have bought several for co-workers and highly recommend.

So much better! I have been using a nice one for years at work, where the cable wear out/break in 6 months. This one has a steel cable instead of nylon sheathed rope and feels much more substantial when you extend it. I picked up the four pack and gave the rest to my co workers. They love them

As a tall guy lanyards suck for trying to scan my badge so having a good retractable badge that comes with a badge holder is really important for me. The retractable wire is really tuff I have had no problems with is for a little over 4 months. It can be a little bulky on your hip while you’re walking around but for how easily it works and how long lasting it is I can’t stress enough how amazing this product is. A big thing for me too is it holds my badge tightly and I can still scan my badge through it. If your looking for a lanyard alternative or a new retractable one this is the one for you.
