First off, I am not easy to impress with audio...I am used to custom built TC Sounds subwoofers providing the low end ...but these two 8 inch drivers are tuned well...and have fantastic output . Move lots of air through the port, without any noticeable port noise...well designed.What sold me on these ( I bought 2 of them, saw the drop to 649 bucks...jumped on it ), was watching a JBL 710 Teardown video...the build quality on these is amazing...they use an MDF braced enclosure under the plastic framing...dual fan cooled amplifier section at the top for better heat dissipation...its a tank inside as well as outside.The App is very robust, pairing the two 710's was not only easy...it stayed problem free the entire night of testing...lets just say I wish my pair of Hyperboom's pairing was a robust as this 710's is . Also, when updating the software...watch the speaker...the LED ring around the woofer mirrors the apps progress...what a COOL detail to think of.The BassBoost DEEP setting is FANTASTIC, the Punchy setting is HORRIBLE...set it to DEEP.It cant be all perfect ( Really close though ) , the AC input could have been better...the little figure 8 input plug is not good for plugging/unplugging on a regular basis.And the tweeters were a strange choice, almost as if JBL found a hidden stash of these old coned 2 inch drivers to use...they do OK...but lack in high end extension...and seem very directional. This would kill a critical listening speaker, but on this in your face monster speaker...It doesnt bother me much ( Hey, had to find SOMETHING to gripe about )I gotta say, while I expected a lot from the 710 from the reviews and watching the Teardown video...the actual speaker delivered even more....believe the hype...this one is the real deal.

This speaker will get you a noise violation. It is loud. Really loud. And it sounds pretty good too.The only downside is that you will need a strong back to get it up into car. It is as heavy as it is loud. It rolls fairly well on its wheels, but the lift is not easy with one person.

Amazing sound and volume from a single speaker and no batteries to ruin the product.If you can afford this monster speaker it is worth the price tag in every way.You never need more than 50% volume unless you want folks in the next county to hear you.

This is an absolute beast of a speaker. The sound is amazing. The light show is great. Only drawback that I see is there is no battery and it needs to be plugged in. But, considering it is an 800w system, and that a battery that would be able to power it would be huge, keeping it plugged in is okay.

Not sure I ever provided a review before...But here ya go...I like it!I'm very critical of audio equipment. It comes from working in the audio industry for many years, being exposed to some of the best equipment available. Yeah, this thing cost $650, but the sound is pleasing...nice rich bass for the size and cost. Hoping it stands up to florida weather as I intend to keep it outside under a covered porch area. Time will tell.

Amazing amounts of bass and power even at half volume, the light show is a fun addition, if you really want to unlock the full potential then get the app so you can boost the mids +2 and the highs +1 on the eq and she will scream like never before.After adjusting the eq, changing the bass to "punchy" and turning off the blinding strobe light up top its a perfect 10 for me, I can't even manage to turn it up to 3/4 volume it's just so unbelievably loud in my living room.I almost want a second one just to really blow my mind, and ears, away.

After reading other reviews. I decided to go with the 710. And it didn’t disappoint. I absolutely love this speaker. My brother ordered one and got it today! If you want bass, this is the one you want. I’ve yet to put up beyond half volume and it delivers. I highly recommend going with this one if you are looking for sound and bass.
