Great price, great product.
Be aware of the shipping time but it showed up and Worked great for my dewalt miter saw. Dremeled a tiny bit to fit. Another comment mentioned to pay attention to the 1 and 2 wiring. Was different than the old one. Just needed to reverse some wires. Very happy with the price and finction.

Replacement for Chicago Electric
I bought this to replace a failed switch in a Harbor Freight miter saw after finding recommendation on the internet. It works well and as most others who accomplished this substitution noted the wiring is different and the saw handle must be modified. I'm not sure its worth the time and effort to figure out the wiring and carve out the handle rather than buy a new saw but if you've got time on your hands this does work. Product was as described and arrived undamaged and within a day or two.

Terminals connection
Play attention to terminal connection in the picture. Terminals 1 connect when you pull the trigger while 2 are always connected when the trigger is off, and disconnect when the trigger is on.

AWESOME
I was given a FireStorm miter saw that did not work. After trouble shooting I discovered the switch was bad. However, they do not make switches for FireStorm miter saws any more, but I ordered this one to see if it would work. I have to wire it backward compared to the the old switch, but it works like a charm. Very happy. Got me a $300 saw for the cost of a switch. Awesome!!!

Not for the Dewalt 705 type 3
I got this to replace a defective switch in my maitre saw. The original is no longer made so I found this as a substitute. First off, it doesn't fit the handle original to the type 3 saw. So, I was forced to buy a newer style handle to use this switch. The new handle required extensive modification to adapt this switch. Granted it works but it was way to much cutting and grinding to make it worthwhile.

Wired Backwards!
This switch is cheap and yea it worked for my Dewalt 708 double bevel sliding miter saw… eventually… I literally had to put the oem wires on backwards putting right side to left side and left side to right side, this wouldn’t have been a big deal but the switch only fits in one specific way so you can’t just turn it upside down, other than that it’s fine.

Quick and easy order and repair.
Price is appropriate. Order came quickly. In our case, a travel trailer, installation was easy. Switch ordered was the correct part which was easy to select with the picture and part # of the item.

Fixed my older Chicago Electric Miter Saw (45885)
The switch worked fine on my older Chicago Electric Miter Saw (45885). I had to widen the opening in the handle a-bit to accommodate this switch. My only criticism is that Amazon and/or its vendors do a very poor job of describing how the contacts operate on these switches. For my saw, I needed one normally open (NO) pair of contacts (power to the saw) and one normally closed (NC) pair. The NC pair closes when the switch is released to allow counter-EMF current in the motor to rapidly stop the blade. I originally ordered an incorrect switch that had two pairs of NO contacts that I had to return before I got this one. This happened because neither the descriptions or the photos adequately explained how the contacts worked. The NO and NC contact descriptions have been an industry standard for years but for some reason are ignored in the descriptions for these switches.

Great switch for the price
This switch fit and worked in my 10" chop saw almost perfectly. A little shaving of the handle, and were making wood again.
