RIG 400HS Stereo Gaming Headset for PS4 with Noise-Cancelling Mic and Performance Audio

Bought this to replace a 2 year old Nuwbo gaming headset. The Nuwbo is currently the same price as the Rig.Pros:Not terrible sound. Its loud but not crisp and cleanMic is super loud.ConsAll plastic but lightEar cups are small. It doesnt say in the add but these are on the ear.Does not come with a pc adapter. Its a single plug so if youre on a pc with a pink and green plug, youll need an adapter. Not supplied.Overall these arent the worst but i would not recommend or buy them myself if i saw them before buying.

Comfortable and does its purpose

This brand does amazing work I've tried other headsets that cost way more that sound like boxy garbage not going to mention any names but one of those brands sounds like "laser" 🙄 The comfort level on these headsets are customizable and If you go to there website sometimes you can even find different headbands to match your style. If you're looking for an affordable headset with amazing quality that will last a long time choose these guys.

I bought this headset for my PS5 for when I wanted to game without fussing with my sound system.The low price belies its clean sound and comfortable fit. It’s not as rugged as higher-priced gaming headphones, but it is a solid choice for gamers wanting an immersive sound field without breaking their banks.

Pro - these are very comfortable. there are three different slots that you can adjust how the cups fit over your ears. the foam around the cups is soft and doesn't squeeze your ears.the game sounds coming through the speakers are clear. I got these because I started playing a lot more R6S recently and I wanted a headset that didn't break the bank but could give me a good quality of sound. these do.Con - the mic stalk is very short and sits awkwardly by the side of my face. it does a good enough job of picking up my voice.the audio of other players when you have all audio coming through the speakers sounds a little muted, fuzzy. when only dialing in the chat audio the sounds are good, but that kind of defeats the purpose of using these headsets for gaming, as this will greatly reduce the quality of game sounds.they are made from a cheap plastic, for the know, so if you want to extend the life of your headset keep them out of footpaths and away from chairs, kids, dogs, other people, doors, anything really.I would buy these again. for the price they are worth it. if you have a couple of extra dollars around I would tell you to look at other options.

This product works great for a PS5, however, It does not work on a PC, at least not on a PC with Windows 11 I tried installing drivers, I tried uninstalling drivers but nothing I did fixed the problem. If you are buying this product to use on PS4 or PS5 it works great, great sound quality but don't expect it to work on PC.

I HATE headphones with any sort of plastic housing, they have a tendency to break around the temple area of the headband, the Plantronics headset however, is exactly what this doesn't have, you can adjust the height by detaching the speakers, making the headband a single piece, the headband doesn't look like it'll break any time soon, I believe it's silicone or something, as wearing it for two hours with speakers so big it'll eat up your ears, it's so comfortable because there's no pressure around it which can cut off your ear's blood line which causes numbing and excessive pain. The microphone isn't noise reduction though and it's not worth the money without it, however it is detachable so you may buy an external noise reduction drive to attach to the headset along with the microphone. The headset has an in-line mute switch which is needed as I have a USB adapter for the PlayStation Silver headset and I needed to replace it, this gaming headset is the best budget gaming headset ever! I recommend you buy it at half price if you spent enough time finding it on Amazon. It's worth it if you have a big head!

I will preface with this, I still like this headset. I just like it less now. After getting tons of use from my first pair I bought in 2020, I ordered a pair of these to replace those because the volume slider fell off. I was instantly disappointed when I went to plug them in. For whatever reason they did away with the 90 flush jack and went to a straight jack that sticks out about 1-1/2 inches. Why do you make pointless changes?! I'm sure it was to save a buck or something but it was dumb and I'd rather spend the extra buck.
