Not fitted wirh an Australian plug.
Cost another $30 for a safety plug to use in Australia. Used for rearing chicks, is much safer and cheaper to run than lamps.

do not buy this if you are from Australia
nowhere on the add does it state that this is a 110v appliance. i ordered this from amazon australia so of course i assumed it was able to be used in australia and would be 230-240 v

Worked only a month
The heater is nice chicks loved it but it only worked a month. That is a lot to spend for only a month no refund or anything from the seller.

Easy to use, not worried about fire risk
I used this for my first set of chicks, a group of 5. I decided to get it vs using a heat lamp so I didn’t have to worry about fire risk, although small just didn’t want to worry about that. I had them on top of shavings and outside in a barn stall. It was early summer and 65 at night, so I wasn’t dealing with extreme cold or using it for a long period. They knew to go under and it kept them comfortable. They could move in and out from it as they pleased. No issues of burning. They did want to get up on top from early on and although it was easy to clean, it was easier to stick a piece of cardboard on top and replace that. After a couple weeks, as it continued to warm up during the day and they got older, I would take it out during the day and put it in at night. No significant change in our electric bill while using it.

Working *great* in single digit indoor (yes you read that right) temps
I don’t have enough electrical juice in my coop for anything high wattage. Enter the Electric Mama! It’s been keeping chicks warm since day 3 in an unheated coop with SUBZERO outdoor temps. Yesterday it was 6 degrees inside the coop. Yes. Six degrees. Chicks would pop out for a snack of a drink then pop back under “Mama.” They seem so content, almost no sad chirps except for when someone else grabs that big piece of egg yolk they were eyeing ;) HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
