A well-made, versatile controller! It can connect to most any Bluetooth enabled device. Apple, Windows, Android, even (with a new firmware update) the Nintendo Switch! That's what I mainly use this for. I plan on getting more for Mario Kart!The buttons and thumbsticks feel solid and responsive, it looks great, and it comes with a free carrying case! It's also well sized. For perspective, I wear either an XL or L glove, depending on brand, and this controller fits very comfortably in my hands, as well as fitting in my girlfriend's hands equally easily and she's got childlike hands. No hands cramps for either of us after a few hours of gaming.The only thing is, if you tend to use it at night, the gently pulsing blue light on the bottom can be pretty distracting until you get used to it. Not a big deal for most, but worth mentioning.

Oh, I definitely plan to get another one these in the future! It works just fine on my phone and the switch! Gives you instructions to connect to either for ease and great battery life! It's light and comfort also love the design I got for it! It's a little hard to get use to if you're playing specifical games like super smash bros ultimate but not too hard to get use to it but definitely fun to play games with!

Starting with the dislikes.1.) The incompatibility with iOS when it used to be there in older versions is frustrating hopefully that will be fixed in a firmware patch later.2.) even after it’s paired with a device you still have to manually sync it each time you want to play it’s not as simple as just turning it on and away you go. It does remember though the last device it was attached to be it a Nintendo or android etc.3.) It can’t power on your Switch not a huge issue but still a minor flawA lot of people complain about the L button layout. This has to be taken with a grain of salt. This controller is an N30 not an SN30. That alone says it is primarily an NES controller or 8 bit. The trade up is it is super slim and portable much more so than the SN30 pro.The positives1.) Amazing interface, so quick and easy to hook up with low lag rates 14ms or less.2.) The d-pad is phenomenal and perfectly placed. Everything on this just feels right.3.) Slimness, super portable a much better on the go controller than the other models.4.) 8bitdo itself, they are constantly updating the firmware and it does help.Summary. If you grew up with the NES like I did this controller feels right at home, the price is worth it however when you compare it to the SN30 Pro it does seem a bit overpriced, however as a portable or a controller for younger kids the smaller size is actually better. If you grew up with non grip controllers this will feel right at home. If you are a younger gamer you may not like it. But as is, this is a great controller. Not comparing it to the SN30 pro this would be the best retro 3rd party controller on the market compared its a solid number 3.

The controller is the same controller that is sold on eBay and Amazon and is really nice to play older games with. Use this with my Raspberry Pi 3 setup and has been great.The controller firmware needed to be updated, nice that it can be updated, so don't feel that is a negative at all (even if it would be nice to have the most current already installed).Battery life seems to be pretty good, lasts well through a couple of my 2+ hour sessions.This is a smaller controller, would probably be excellent for someone with small hands, like 45. I like it since it is about the same as the original NES controller size wise, though thinner.The case is a cheap case, that is a little too big for the controller, but is nice to have something to put the controller in and be able to toss it into a bag.

I thought I knew what the meaning of life was.... until I saw this controller. When I received my package I noticed it was in a superbly packed Chinese clone of an iPhone box. My first thoughts were that of Xiong and his family and whether or not they got enough ramen for the week.After my initial unboxing I reused the bubble wrap to return my flesh light that had a defect. The controller had a shiny gold hue and linked up to my blue tooth version of my felshlight with ease and the dual analog sticks made for some interesting sensations. I would recommend this to all my friends who own felshlights. please make sure Xiong feeds his family.

I wanted to like this controller a lot but it's just unusable for me. I bought this controller intending to use it for emulated games on my phone however there are 2 main issues, the first is that the d-pad is unmappable for me, maybe I got a defective unit who knows, the other issue is the joystick if u even slightly lean into one direction on it, it may override a previous direction so if you're holding left and just slightly hit up it will just ignore the fact that your holding left, coupled with the fact that the joystick button acts glitchy even if u have it mapped to a different button, if u accidently press the joystick button when flicking the joystick in a certain direction in combination with another (A, B, etc) it will either make u light tap the button or double tap it) these 2 problems are really unfortunate considering the controller is otherwise of high quality, I really wanted this controller to work for me, but it just doesn't. =/

I love these controllers. They are built well, despite the issues with the two i just returned. The d-pad and buttons feel great. The features in the new firmware update are awesome. Works on everything I have sync'd them to. Fit and finish are top tier manufacturer good.In another review I mentioned how I have returned two of these. They were two other units I ordered with a third that worked perfectly. I own 5 of these and I have no issues with the others. I ordered replacements as soon as i filled out the return slip.
