Works well and backed up by excellent customer support
Bought this headset Oct 2020 as the one supplied by my wife’s office did not work with both models of phones they have and their telecom service provider was not able to provide a headset that worked with one of the models. Her co-worker found this gem with the bonus that it actually works with both! And it sounds better with a better microphone than the more expensive headset. The only complaint is that it’s a little tight on her head. For myself the onlyExcellent warranty support. It has worked well until this March when the plastic end the headband goes into broke off. She taped it up to keep it from sliding off.Contacted Wantek with a picture of the damage and they responded quickly. After confirming shipping details they had the replacement shipped which arrived the following day.

Mic is great, received audio is muffled
Overall quite good for the price point. Works fine on both Grandstream models we use in office. Incoming audio is slightly muffled sounding but is clear enough. Outbound audio is clear as a bell and noise cancelling seems to be quite good. One issue we noticed is that if you make a sound while someone else is talking the audio cuts out for a moment.

Great headset! [Amended from my prior review]
First let me say that Wantek customer service is proactive and great! Upon reading that my headset wasn’t performing well, they reached out via email to confirm my shipping details, then sent me a new unit. The new one is satisfactory on business calls so far - continues to be really clear on my end, and those on the other end report no fade outs or drops when I’m speaking. I’m very appreciative of companies who take quality seriously, and thanks to Wantek for making it right.=prior review=This headset is comfortable and I specifically wanted a corded headset for use with an Avaya VOIP (Voice-over-IP) phone in the office. It's somewhat ok, but I have gotten comments that from time to time my voice just cuts out when I'm speaking. Not really what I was hoping for ... and I can't tell it's even happening - to me everything sounds fine. This unit came with three adapter plugs (that according to some who posted comments, made their headset work well). None of them made any difference for me - in fact none of them worked at all. Guess I'm stuck. I guess I need to pay more than $30 for something functional.

Worth buying.
Worked perfectly with my Avaya office phone. Very impressed with the quality for the price. Cord is just long enough so that I can walk around the edge of my desk. My only complaint is I can sometimes hear my own breath in the ear piece.

Very nice inexpensive headset, and the adapters allow it to be used on Polycom VoIP phones.
So my company switched phone providers and went from an older Cisco unit to a Polycom VVX410 model. The information on the Wantek headset says it will only work with the listed phones/models. Mine of course is not one of them. I looked up options for headsets certified for the Polycom VVX410 and the cheapest I could find was $75.00. Now I cannot see spending that much for a monaural headset, so I tried this one. When plugging into the phone directly audio from the phone pays well but everyone I spoke to with it said it was very hard to hear me. I was about to send it back when I remembered there are three additional RJ9 adapters that were included with the headset. Nothing in the instructions mention them at all either. At first glance they all look the same, except each is marked with a 1,2, or 3 on the grey plug. After closer inspection I noticed that the pin-out on each was different. Surprisingly I found that adapter #2 works perfectly. Audio is crisp and clear, and the mic comes across strong and no more issues of people complaining they cannot hear me.Over all this is a good headset. It's not as comfortable as my old set but it's far better than holding the handset to my shoulder while I type. Build quality seems to be good and the volume/mute button is conveniently close to grab it easily. Bottom line if you buy these and it doesn't work straight out of the box, make sure to try each of the adapters that they send with it. Chances are one of them will work.
