Works as advertised!
This kit included a number of parts to allow mounting of all kinds of devices. I even purchased some extra adapters thinking I'd need them, and to my surprise, I didn't! I successfully mounted an old camcorder (circa 2011) all the way to an iPhone to get a top-down view of a board gaming table as a proof of concept to do some online board gaming sessions. I never got to actually use it for a game night yet, due to scheduling, but this looks like it will do nicely. Very long reach for just about any situation. The clamp is super strong (remember the old 2011 camcorder --- not small). Two thumbs up!

Wonderful Camera Mount
Things I liked- Very very stable- Tons of articulation options. Very well done!- Easy to assemble and useI actually just use this to play magic the gathering (card game) virtually with friends online using the Logitech C920x. I really liked that the camera mount had a compatible mount for the webcam. I don't know the term but it's a pretty commonly used screw on mount for this webcam and plenty of other cameras and such. It's just nice to have. I'm able to mount this to my right side at the front of my desk and articulate it high enough from my sitting position to perfectly look down at my desk/playmat for my cards. I suppose if you're needing this to live stream showing your hands on your mouse and keyboard then this would work perfectly and you won't bump into it. I feel I got exactly what I paid for and more. I haven't tested it with heavier cameras so mileage may vary with heavy cameras but for smaller webcams or mounting your phone, A+.

Not as sturdy as I hoped.
Wanting to get a new overhead rig going, and this one looked like it would be perfect. It's tall, it's metal, and it can be put in any position I want (with the help of a couple other little mounts I've already got)....However.....I can't get it to STAY in the position I want. There is some definite sag going on even with a light Sony A6400. I get it where I want it and come back a few hours later and it's moved under the weight of the camera and has to be adjusted again.Still better than the arm I have been using, but not as sturdy as I had hoped. It's still useable, just not what I expected for the price.

Very good for holding my Elgato Light
I was initially going to buy anothe Elgato adjustable arm and extensions but it was going to cost over $80 for everything. I searched and found this product which when opened I was surprised at the quality and what actually came with it. Very adjustable and sturdy enough for most heavy cameras, mics and or in my case a Elgato Key light. Made over head lighting much easier. Great product seriously!

Joints are strong and the individual pieces ring when you drop them. Indicative of metal.
This boom holds a 1.5 pound DVR over my planning table and over my milling machine at a radial distance that gets the DVR where it needs to be The joints are two halves of metal that are squeezed together by a Wing bolt. The balls have a texture. These joints are strong. The c clamp screw is loose in the threaded hole and will probably stripp one day because I move it to two locations frequently. I would buy it again because the important parts are made well and even if I have to get a better c clamp for it the value is definitely good. I had to mention the c clamp but want to say I think that overall I'm glad I choose this one.

Almost Ideal
I really like it and so maybe I am being lenient in regard to my review, but I have used my Samsung galaxy note s20 and its maybe on the heavier side but was hoping it would handle the weight of a phone better. I could understand if it was a camera but was expecting more sturdiness on a phone but overall, I would say its a good desk mount for an overview content.

Table Mount is Different from what was advertised.
In the pictures of the product, it clearly shows an table mount that can be adjusted to fit different table thicknesses, something I was relying on since my tables don't have think lips. The one that actually came in the box is one solid piece and just half an inch too short to fit under the frame of the table.

Broke after second use TuT
Dude this things arm broke off my desk the second time I used it....and right before a class. Save your money. Honestly I haven't researched a better camera holder thingy yet but save your money. If you;re going to be turning it and moving it often then I'd look for something more sturdy. On mine, the screw that fastens to the desk ate through the threads of the metal on the arm. Can't ever screw it again now. I didn't even use tools to screw it, Not much force from me,Anyways good luck, don't but unless it will be forever stationary TuT
