YAMAHA PSR E473
This keyboard is simply superb. I am a beginner and this keyboard is an absolute joy to behold. It's range of voices and extras far exceeds my needs to be honest but that said a more experienced or intermediate pianist/keyboard player will find this an absolute treasure chest at an unbeatable value in my opinion.

Great buy from Amazon resale
Absolutely perfect—just what I was looking for!I’m not a professional, but playing the piano helps me relax and clear my mind.Great purchase at a great price! I bought it from Amazon resale, and while the packaging wasn’t in the best shape, the piano itself was flawless—no scratches, and everything was included. The quality is excellent. It’s perfect for beginners, yet even professionals would find it enjoyable to play.I love how it looks and feels!

Brill
One of if not the best keyboard for its price range. The different sounds and live tuning dials create such a unique experience - almost like a synthesiser.

Very capable. Recommended.
Amazed by how the Yamaha PSR range has evolved, for the better. This was bought for hotel room practice but I ended up gigging with it.There isn't much it can't do. Very good sounds with a small amount of synthesis to allow some shaping. I do wish I'd bought the 425 with the extra keys, but, because there is only one split point, it's almost moot. The drum machine/arpeggiator is fine for most things. SMF playback. The left hand auto comping thing must be useful if you're out solo and there's endless style options. The four sample playback pads are very easy to load, trim, play. I like the keybed! Allows very fluid playing but not really for trad pianists at all. Fine for organ and synth.Very lightweight. Would prefer the single stick mod/pitch lever they have on the next product level up...better for expression and also better ergonomically. 32 user memory slots (registrations) - just enough for a gig, but not if you're switching patches for each section of a song. Unbalanced jack outs to your DIs. Onboard speakers on 473 about half as powerful as on 425...sound is excellent. Not enough grunt to rely on for a gig, but fine for practice. Mic input is unbalanced jack. There's loads more - it really does cover almost everything.Any criticism? Some of the sustained sounds have obvious loop points. Through a PA - no probs. For recording, nah.You can get classier sounds by paying more but we are talking 5-10% classier. And these things cover almost anything, including world instruments. Perhaps at the expense of chart friendly synth patches. The brass sections are notably good.If someone drops a lighting stand on your modx, and you've taken the time to programme this, it will drop straight into the rig as an affordable replacement.Nothing else in this price range comes close.
