Waterproof Durable New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs-NLT-Camouflage

It’s a great bible. And yes… it is waterproof. And just like numerous videos will show, yes you can swim with it, and test it floats, and yes you can hose it and it holds up…HOWEVER: The issue comes when you want to read it after. The pages stick from the moisture. It becomes stiff for lack of a better word and you cannot easily flip through it. Honestly, I am more than happy with it, and it is waterproof as advertised, but don’t expect easy going after it’s been submerged in water. Should be more than ok in humid weather or light rain though.

The quality of how well this Bible is made makes it easy to carry everywhere with me.

It is small text, but it is also a smaller size Bible, so it is expected. The paper is nearly indestructible and truly waterproof, so it is perfect to take with you where ever your adventures find you.I'm sure there are those who will not be happy with the title of this review, but as Christians - followers of Christ - we follow the new covenant that God made with us through Jesus, not the old covenant (Old Testament) law. Psalms and Proverbs are timeless wisdom, praise and prayers, well suited to go with the New Testament. Of course, we should all still have a full Bible, read it and study it - but for general, everyday usage, this New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs completely fills that need.

Spent a long time looking for a decent travel-sized bible until I found this. Wasn’t even looking for a waterproof one but it’s quite the plus. Camo cover isn’t my taste but otherwise it’s great.

This is my new EDC Bible. However it could have been a 5 star Bible if it had been printed full page linear. The print is almost to small to be a comfortable read. Looking forward to a larger print version…

I looked hi and wide for a New Testament only bible. Did not like the ones that were the same size of a reg bible. So tryed this because of the pos reviews. If your losing ur eye sight or half blind then of course you won’t be able to read. Even small print books can be read by ppl with decent eye sight whether being old or young. i am 76 And still have 20 something vision with bi focals of which i am So happy my eye dr says my eye sight is still good so far. Thank you god.I highly recommend this. It’s.4 1/2 by 7 inches. The print is small but clear for , As I said , ppl who stil have good eye sight even correctable by glasses 🤓 I don’t mean half blind ppl. Of course I have a reg bibke but this is one I can take anywhere. And honestly. It’s the new tearament I read the most. 🙂🙃

IAW some ex-US Military, only ever once or twice long ago, issued a Bible of this field-deployment ready durability! This Bible, is as billed, and could withstand long usage on many extended filed training exercises and or the many current real-world deployments US troops face! (That is, if per many sources they are still receiving Christian Bibles... whom knows, as per US Department Veteran Affairs [US DVA] Chaplains, in for example in US DVA VISN16 troops not being issued Bibles, if they want them, is a total myth!)Anyone, been either in high-risk situations-training or combat, pretty much knows, "there are truly few atheists in fox-holes!" A simple Bible is often a great source of comfort to many US troops stationed abroad or on real world deployment. Furthermore, a Bible is more of a reflective item for troops to read, than saying the huge "distraction" of attempting to attain an online degree while deployed in some of the worst real world combat areas abroad! A Bible can if fact help one maintain focus, offer comfort if ones battle-buddies hurt or severely injured, as greatly opposed to worrying about trying to get one's next assignment done, while preparing for the next mission or worrying about simple, lifesaving things like total situational awareness!This Bible, or like kind, should be considered for either issuance to US Troops by US Military Chaplain Corps, if possible in today's age (?), or considered for bulk donation to US Troops by those with means to do so!

I am very pleased with this edition of the NKJV new testament, psalms and proverbs; it has a 'non-religious' cover and is ideal for keeping in my rucsac (being waterproof). The type is small (7 point), but crystal clear - and not a problem for my 68 year old, spectacle-wearing eyes. In many NKJV bibles now, the original 1982 preface - explaining why the 'Received Text' is preferable to later ones, and the superiority of 'complete equivalence' in translation - has been shortened; here it is printed in full. And until I bought this, I had given up hope of finding a new NKJV which (like my much-loved 1982 'Revised Authorised Version' - the anglicised NKJV) does not have Jesus' words printed in red. Here the whole text is black. Jesus' words in red is wrong for three reasons: (1) The red text is harder to read; (2) It creates a difference not in the original Greek; (3) It implies that words spoken by Jesus before his ascension are more important than words inspired by the Holy Spirit after his ascension - an idea that contradicts our understanding of the Holy Trinity. Finally, I note that the text in Bardin & Marsee's complete (OT + NT) NKJV bibles is 8 point.

Its the bible written by God, obviously its awesome! Go Jesus!

Perfect gift for (current) non-believing friends and family.It feels like it is made from good quality materials. Ergonomically, it feels great to hold and read.

very impressed by the feel of the pages, the print though not large is clear and relatively easy to read. cover is flexible.7"by 4"by less than 3/4" very compact, lightweight. a few pages for notes at the back.very pleased I bought it.highly recommended for outdoors camping or just to read at home.
