I love this product: Easy to install
I love this product: Easy to install on my economy Variable Valve Timing - Turbo Volvo. High Quality Brass and Stainless.I now have more power only when I need it, no loss of highway mpg, and more low-end engine braking down very steep hills. This is the biggest bang for $20, and buck for 20 min. of install time. But, don't burn your rubber, use lube.First make sure you car is in perfect tune in every way, including the proper oil viscosity(V-Tec runs on oil pressure). Cut the red marked hose and pop in the boost controller. Volvos have three hoses to and from the turbo electronic valve next to the air filter, red, green, and yellow. Use a thin film of silicone grease on the two male connections. If you spraypaint your boost controller, first insert a pipe cleaner into the breather hole. The factory setting was almost right, right out of the box. I gradually increased boost just to the point where I could burn rubber off-the-line and then dialed it back 1 /4 turn, because burning rubber means a loss of traction and stability control. At this Goldilocks `just- right' setting I have full stability, no loss of fuel economy at highway cruising speeds, and much more power off-the-line, and when passing; much, much more power. WOW. Note: I still could peal out if I were to take it to 1800 rpm before letting off the brake.Advisement: Do not use a product like this if you already have a turbo performance model, whose settings are already dialed in from the factory. Do not use this product if your car is out of tune. Do not use this product if your car is still under warrantee.I will attempt to include a photo of my install. I am very happy with this product.

Great product! Would recommend
Pretty simple little piece of equipment that will get the job done for cheap. The build quality is pretty simple, it's only 7 pieces of metal, put together to make a simple spring operated valve. The only reason why I rate 4 stars is because the pieces that thread into the main body of the controller could have been sealed a little better. When I first hooked it up I got a very small boost leak at these points. It's an easy fix though, just apply a little bit of thread sealing tape to the threads and your set! Make sure you have a boost gauge and AFR gauge when using this or you risk serious damage to your engine. I installed this on my Audi 5000 Quattro, and brought the boost up from around 10psi to 15psi. Boy did it make a difference, that little bump in pressure was enough to get all four tires spinning in 2nd gear. Would definitely reccomend.

Awesome Product. Cheapest/Easiest Performance Mod
Love this boost controller. I installed it in my 2000 Mk1 Audi TT between the turbo and the N75 about a week ago. Such and easy install and such a low price for huge gains in boost. Comes with some easy to follow directions if you need them as well.I have increased my boost by about 5 psi and staying there for right now but will increase it in the future I'm sure. The boost comes on earlier and holds it longer through out. Most noticable while already moving. Love cruising around 40mph, then pressing down on the throtle and feeling the torqu!VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: If your vehicle does not have a boost gauge I do not recomend installing this product. Unless you are fine with risking blowing up your turbo or engine, I strongly recomend installing a guage first to monitor the amount of boost delivery.

Was able to increase my boost but not able to ...
Was able to increase my boost but not able to increase it only 4 psi. My target was 11 psi coming from 7 psi but kept spiking to 15 before I let off. Adjusted the screw all the way out and could only get the boost down to 13-14 psi. Tried blocking off the hole to increase pressure to the wastegate which lowered the spiking but still could not get boost below 13 psi. It's now an ornament on my desk....

Zoom but be carefull
My EBCS stopped getting power and I was only getting 6 psi boost installed and adjusted to 14 psi now my WRX goes like it should again, while I figure out what is wrong with the power to my Electronic Boost Control Solenoid.

I really wanted a good experience with this and I was hopeful at first
I really wanted a good experience with this and I was hopeful at first. I locked in my boost at 9 psi and it held for a few miles, but then I went over 9 psi a couple times and got really concerned so I removed it and took it apart to find that the spring had gotten caught on the thread of the T piece, which essentially shortened and tightened the spring in a position that likely would have caused a dangerous amount of boost for my build. This may have been a fluke because I know a lot of people use these home made boost controllers, but with my experience I would not recommend this unless you're willing to risk your engine.

Works better than the prosport mbc for half the price
I'm only giving this 4 stars because boost leaks past the bolt threads. Some teflon tape fixed it right up, but it should come ready to go. Works better than the prosport mbc for half the price.

Great bargain
Works very well so far,but because of the short body, there isnt much as far as fine adjustments go.I did throw some teflon around the threads to help them seal better in the "tee".
