I see many reviews here talking about the E2 error. This unit defaults to Floor Sensor and you have to change the setting to Room Sensor if you don't have a separate floor thermometer. That is the cause of the E2 error.That said, I got my thermostat installed and set properly but never got it to connect to wifi.Additionally, when this unit turns on the heat, the line voltage heats up the thermostat itself so that it shuts the heat back off even though the room is not to temperature. I've seen this with other single pole 240V thermostats, but this is the worse one I've encountered. I put a -7 degree offset into the calibration and it still won't control the room temperature properly.

Installed easily and still working after 30 days.

Our Electrician finally made it over to the house to do some work for us. One of the things on the list was to install the new EconoHome GFCI WiFi Thermostat, a replacement for the existing thermostat that wasn’t working properly.Our Electrician didn’t have any problems with the installation but we did get an E2 error message on the unit. The troubleshooting section of the product’s directions state that E2 is an External Probe Failure instructing to “contact your dealer or professional technician”. This was not what I was expecting.The heated floor system was installed by the previous homeowner so I’m not sure who to call for what sounds like could be a costly issue to repair. Until I do get this E2 error fixed, I cannot review this product's features and how it functions and operates. I’ll have to return at a later date to edit my review with an update.

I could not get the thermostat connected to Wifi despite several attempts. I attempted to contact the manufacturer , and the seller. absolutely no support. they ask you to fill out a contact form on their website and then they never respond.

After a year of service it started to shoot sparks and after looking into it found it had been a issue from the hookup side of this product

I installed this thermostat and it doesn’t work. Instead I have a code E2, and installation manual says to contact your dealer,Don’t know where I can get that phone # or email, please help, thanks.This thermostat has a warranty for 5 years.

Did not connect with Alexa or google homeContacted support multiple timesOnce connected, the temperature shown was totally wrong and you can. It turn on/off from Alexa or google homeAll in all pretty bad productThinking of returning it but will have to pay an electrician to remove/replace

Went to hook it up and the app said it wouldn’t work with our furnace wiring. We returned it.
