Good, but not Great
These taller Antennas do work better, but I can only imagine how much better a copper antenna would be. My office has very limited reception, and this improved my reception by at least 30 percent and I picked up more radio stations. This antenna is about 10 - 12 inches longer than my stock antenna.Make it a GREAT Day

The screw is very little
Simple take screw out of old antenna put new one on

Be prepared to make the mounting hole bigger with a drill.
I thought all of these type of antennas all had the same sized mounting holes, but this item had a hole that was too small to mount it on the unit (a Grundig weather/SW radio). Solved the problem by using an electric drill to increase the size of the hole. Satisfied with the results.
