All of the information is explained clearly and in terms that are easy to understand. The major holidays and festivals are explained. There is a great visual of the calendar as a wheel that is a great way to see the year's progression. There are also some great spells in here to familiarize yourself with spell work. This book was just a fascinating read.

Lots of good information

I don't know a whole lot about witchcraft but decided to get this book. This book will teach you about modern witchcraft. I find the entire religion very faciniating. The crystals, spells and chants are used for positive changes. I think that culturally witches are often thrown into a negative light but this book will teach you that is not the case. Great interesting read.

I enjoyed the way the author explains each of the different kinds of modern witches and what they believe. The steps to purify the mind, divination and channeling spirits are fascinating. You will learn about spells, magic candle and common herbs along with the ways to use them for protection or healing. Fascinating guide to learn about modern witches.

I was disappointed with this book I thought that it was a neutral view it wasn't then it over explained sometimes and under explained in others and it was a difficult read

The media could not be loaded. I finally found the guide to modern magic that I was looking for. The fluent writing allowed me to read it all in one go in half a day. I had already bought a five-in-one manual but I found it too long and too scattered for me as a beginner. Instead, with this book I was able to get an overview of many topics in one book straight away. I enjoyed the part dedicated to runes and the world of Nordic magic. Fascinating. I appreciated that the topics are treated concisely but exhaustively, with attention to detail without going overboard. I found this very useful for a beginner because you remember what you read better without getting lost among pages and pages. It also helped me start practising magic immediately. The spells are easy to perform through simple rituals, because they are explained step-by-step, with readily available ingredients. Thanks to the book's easy-to-follow instructions, I also started practising with tarot cards and enthusiastically began my collection of herbs for magic. I highly recommend this book to beginners.

A beginner's guide to the mystical and magical world of witchcraft. Very well written, it explains with great clarity, through step by step practices, many spells.It not only tells the story and the thousands of legends that revolve around these special men and women. People that are deeply connected to the earth and nature and the forces that command them. A book that will reveal aspects that are often overlooked, such as the strong sense of ethics and deep love that moves these people to act. Forget the mediums, gurus and pseudo-witchdoctors who invade the TV, this book is about something else entirely. I find it very interesting and I am enjoying it very much. You don't necessarily have to want to be a 'witch' to read this book.

I recommend reading this book. Smooth but not trivial reading. Help those approaching these topics for the first time. I think it's really suitable for newbies. I was attracted by the topic and the cover, an excellent alternative to my usual literal tastes of novels and humanistic treatises. And written in a simple and clear way. It thoroughly explores all the main topics and just leaves a trace for the less "important" things. Very compelling and interesting. I take a lot of his reading because it was just what I expected from this book. Magic constantly exists around us and in us !!

I started studying and practicing magic a few months ago and I was looking for an easy-to-understand guide like this one. I found it so exciting and helpful. He deepens both the historical origins of witchcraft and the practical part. It is so easy to follow the directions. Everything is clearly explained step by step. In the photos, you can see the book in my magical corner. I've already tried a few spells. I can’t wait to try them all! I highly recommend it!

I've been studying witch craft around 8 years. However, I liked the look of this book so ordered.I've learnt some new things from here. And it's beautifully written.Would recommend.
