Great knife. My daily use knife, has a comfortable handle and stays sharp. Use it to cut vegetables and meats but no bones. Have had the knife for over 2 yrs with no blade chips or staining.

I have bought these for myself as well as gifts for recent grads, newly weds and house warming. They are well made, stay sharp, well balances. Love them.

Perfect size, excellent handle, super sharp. I hone it slightly once a week, little effort, stays super sharp.

I really like this knife but I wish that it had slightly less of a curve on edge.

I have wasted so much money on knives that are now just decorating my knife board. This one is perfect! Love the handle, the weight, the overall feel...was so happy I sent a couple as gifts. Very sturdy, yet nimble for detail cuts. Also have a smaller Mercer knife with the same handle material - definitely a plus when working with wet or greasy items. Buy one - you'll love it!

It came sharp and has been very useful for prepping our dinners. The edge holds well with occasional use of a steel hone.

Both of my knives from Mercer rival my knives from global at 75% less cost. They hold their edge well, very well built, great quality, and they are sharpened very easily. I have a 3.5 inch knife from them and a 6 inch knife from them for cooking and they are just stellar!
