The Infinity Between Us

So happy I stumbled on this book!!!
This randomly came up as a suggested book and I was instantly intrigued. I'm SO happy for that, because this book was amazing. Sweet, sad, steamy ( last 1\3 of it), and so beautiful I'm sad its over. It has a strong resemblance to both Every Summer After and Love and other Words but in a different way. I highly recommend!

cute
It was cute and smutty but not very well written. As someone who spends a lot of time in Ogunquit, there were inaccuracies that were hard to get past

liked it enough to finish
I liked it but it wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t get a good sense of the characters personality. There wasn’t enough dialogue for me. Mostly just the main characters thoughts, which she tended to repeat a lot. I might not have liked this one as much because I am just coming off reading “every summer after” which was a 5 star for me and I loved everything about it.

a BEAUTIFUL, MUST READ!
this book was the perfect summer escape. i was part of the family picture , i was racing to the beach with the Seaburg’s and the Mitchell’s so that i am not the last to make breakfast for the entire family the next morning. i was lounging in the summer room admiring deeply at Will & Violet’s friendship.i fell in love with their family, their dynamic. it’s a beautiful chaos to meet the second part of your family every summer at a beach house that has rooted into a second home but it also tears you apart when a dear family member breaks your heart.this book took my hand and guided me through all emotions possible, i couldn’t put it down, i needed to know why Will & Violet’s friendship fell apart.as much as i enjoyed the friendship that grew into an infinite love, my favorite character was Violet’s father. he is such an incredible man with such a beautiful heart and i wish to know more about him and how did he find peace within the broken pieces.THANK YOU N. S PERKINS for one of the BEST summer reads. i look forward to reading the infinity between us again, this time at a beach house, on a hot summer day in a beautiful town like ogunquit, maine.

Friends to Lovers!
Friends to lovers is one of my favorite troups! This book hit the mark! This was my first book by N. S. Perkins and will not be my last. I enjoyed the back and forth timeline between the past and present. Character development was perfect with great dialogue.Just the right amount of heat and chemistry.Well done!

Second chance summer romance
I love a good second chance summer romance. Violet and Will grew up going to a lake house in Maine every summer. Their families were really close and they shared the lake house with each other. Something happens that tears the families apart. Now it’s 5 years later and Violet is at the lake house to try to sell it. Will is there and plans to convince her to give the lake house and him a second chance. Will is literally so sweet and I loved reading this book. Definitely one of my favorite summer reads so far

Did NOT disappoint
I am an absolute sucker for a childhood friends to lovers story and this absolutely delivered on that front. A lot can go wrong when you have two whole families intertwined in a story but the number of characters never felt like too much to account for. I do think Jensen was a bit forgotten. I enjoyed the female grovel and the talk of therapy, even the past and present povs were executed well. My only issue, and I'm aware that it's likely a personal qualm, but I don't like when other characters are spoken about like I should know them. Like from a previous story or book from the same author and I can only assume that what happened later in this book when some time is dedicated to a couple random people. It felt like a nod to the reader but this being my first Perkins read, it really took me out of the moment. Overall I loved this book and I devoured it in 24 hours.

50/50
There are some really good parts of this book but i found the plot to be basic and lacking flavor. However, certain parts of this book were very good!

Loved it!
I loved this book, it had the perfect amount of nostalgia, angst, and chemistry. Great summer read! It had The Summer I Turned Pretty vibes, with more depth and less triangles.

Good writing but…
3.5 🍭🍭🍭I liked the writing, the story and the emotions. It’s just that what triggered the separation seemed too much for the result.I know that everyone copes differently with suffering, but I definitely felt the reason a bit stretched and the reaction, out of proportion.Otherwise, I really liked the double POV, the flashbacks, the story between them.

sadly rather predictable
We follow Violet on her way out of the aftermath of a very tragic point in her life. Sadly, the plot was a bit too predictable for my taste. This being said, it's an easy to read book, the characters are nicely developed, even though I was disappointed by Will's development in the "spicy" part of the book, I can see that the story might be appealing to people starting out on their reading journey.
