Excellent resource to engage and develop reasoning skills for young children

A very good book which I have been using with my 11yr old grandson. It made us think!

As this is a Christmas present for a 10 year old I cannot comment on their reaction yet. I can see that there are numerous activities to challenge an 8 to 12 year old. Some will be easy but quite a few might need adult guidance. Looks as if this is a great book to occupy young minds particularly on a rainy day.

Our grandson who is 9 really loves this book and the puzzles inside keep him happily occupied for hours.

My bright 7 year old loves the challenges in this book. There is a huge variety of puzzles and so there’s something for everyone. School doesn’t stretch him at all so he does these for fun

Bought it for holiday road trip kept my son busy during the road trips

Great book, lots of different puzzles. We brought it on holidays and it kept my daughter entertained for the whole flight and beyond. I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, this book has numerous logical and mathematical flaws. My son frequently seeks my assistance, and after careful investigation (and even consultations with the solutions), we discover that there is a typo and the challenge is unsolvable. The most recent example is the math maze on 34 page - the suggested solution doesn’t work as math doesn’t match. Aside from that, it has some interesting puzzles.
