NISEMONOGATARI, Part 1: Fake Tale

What else is there to say? I love this series. Each chapter is just the main character having a conversation as the mystery unravels by the end. It's fun, Japanese, and thought-provoking. I've read every book so far and can't get enough.

I had heard tell of the infamous Nisemonogatari arc and was prepared to hate it, only reading through it to get to the genius of season 2. That was not the case. A strange tale with commentary on repression, honesty, platonic ideals and our attempts to self actuality those ideas we aspire to onto ourselves. If you can deal with the controversial overtones, there’s a lot to love about this book.

Sadly this is one star since it came bent from the package.Its annoying because now i have to wait to bend it and it looks ok.Hope this doesnt happen to other buyers of this bookSince its a great story to read

Loved this book, the whole series actually. The banter among the characters is addicting and I can’t get enough of it.

Back with more entertaining exchanges and great characters.

I do like this novel, another NISOSIN great, it seemed to drag on a bit. I like the relationship dynamics with Araragi Karen, don't get me wrong, but it does seem like fight scenes were a bit long and overdramatic. Otherwise, moving the story along was great.

The story is,as always,phenomenal.The only reason I gave it four stars is because the book came a little damaged on the cover and some pages didn't match the length of the others.

Great read! Book came in excellent condition and is a wonderful book to read i would recommend this series as a must read for all manga fans

I am platinum mad about the translation. Well, maybe not that much, but it is a shame. The older books in the series were done much better in my opinion.The story is still great of course, the cover design is fantastic. But the translation is just ok.

Soy gran fanático de esta serie y aunque reconosco que no son aptas para todo publico por las tremendas conversaciones que mantienen los personajes, esta llena de un sentimiento que las hace sentir muy reales. Las novelas realmente ayudan a adentrarse más en la historia, en este arco no solo conocemos más a las hermanas de Koyomi, y sus incidentes con las aparaciones, sino que de todos los personajes que se han presentado hasta ahora, porque al principio de la historia, Koyomi corre con la suerte de tener un dia libre y le permite convivir con todas sus amigas, antes de tener que resolver los problemas de sus hermanas. Aunque la adaptación del anime es muy buena, las novelas ayudan a comprender más lo que sientes los personajes. En cuanto al envio, llegó a tiempo y en buenas condiciones. Todo fanático de la serie debe de leerlas

Como las novelas anteriores traducidas por Vertical Inc. ésta tiene una buena calidad tanto en impresión, papel, portada y traducción (pese al trago amargo de la traducción de Platinum mad [frase característica de Tsukihi, hermana menor de Koyomi] a Dagnabbit mad). Si has visto el anime o tienes ánimos de verlo recomiendo ampliamente leer este libro para mayor contexto (y goce) de la obra de Nisio Isin.
