Ice Cube Trays with Lids, Diamond-Shaped Silicone BPA-Free (2-pack)

Not much to say except the this diamond shaped ice cube maker is freaking AWESOME!This comes as a 2 pack along with a green funnel. I will be honest....I didn't use the funnel to fill up the silicone ice trays. I simply place a top of it and turned off the water faucet let the water run through the small holes at the top. I would definitely use the silicone funnel to pour other liquids such as lemon juice or making flavored ice cubes.Each tray makes 4 diamond shaped ice cubes. They are made of silicone which make them easy take out the ice cubes. These came when I was out grocery shopping and my son found them and had already filled them before I got home. So I start by saying they are super easy to use. I love that they have a cover on them. I have used other silicone molds for ice and these are nice since they are covered. Makes a nice good size ice cube. Super cute for a shower or dinner party and perfect to fill with fruit. The silicone is nice and heavy so it will last. The only thing to note is it can be hard to tell if it is filled all the way. They do leak a little but it’s designed well because it just sits on the lid so it’s not a big deal and doesn’t alter the ice.

I like the shape of the ice "cubes", but they're rather smallish and will melt pretty quickly. I prefer a larger size like my orbs in the 2"-2.5" sizes.

These are ok, but after a few uses, when filling the forms, the tops start to pop off as the liquid freezes. To avoid this you can not fill the forms completely, but then that also means you won't get a perfect shame out of the molds. Wash them by hand just to be safe. Once I realized that the tops were popping up during freezing, I decided not to put them in the dishwasher, was afraid that the heat would make it worse.

Oh my gosh how I love thee!! If you want something different for your ice, this is it! Not only are these huge but, to have a diamond shape, is just fun and they are pretty. If that is possible for ice. Just make sure when you fill silicone ice trays and put them in your freezer, that you have a flat and sturdy surface. As they can get tipped over. Also, I have stacked them but, you do not put them directly with one on top of the other. Kinda like a kiddy corner. If you now what I mean. When we have company these are fun to use and also because of their larger size, they are perfect in that pitcher of iced tea or lemonade. Also, being so large they are perfect to keep a thermos of something cold, colder for longer! I have started to put these in my guys larger water thermos he takes to work. Does the job perfectly!!

I love silicone molds, and I use a lot of different ones because they are perfect for creating unique soap in. I always test new molds with water/ice first so see how they hold up. The ice cubes from this tray are close to the size of a normal ice cube, or maybe just slightly larger. I use the soap from this mold as embeds (toppers for normal size bars of soap. I like them because they are unique!The trick with this mold is to fill it full, and then put something on top to hold the lid down. This way you’ll get perfect 3D diamond. If a little squished out the top, that’s not an issue because you can cut any extra bigger easily.This 2-pack of molds comes with a silicone funnel that folds flat. The funnel makes the ice trays easy to fill (and clean up is easy since they are silicone and dishwasher safe). Overall, this is a good purchase.

We recently had received a single ice cube mold to make round/sphere shaped ice balls and the kids thought it was really cool, but because it only makes one at a time (and we have 4 kids in the house) it was a bit of a struggle when they wanted to have "fancy" ice for their drink at dinner. I decided to see what I could find for an ice mold that made more than one piece at a time and came across this. The kids thought it was SUPER FANCY because they are diamond shaped (which is why I chose this one over others because I thought they'd get a kick out of the shape) and my problem of single ice at a time was solved as this is a 2 tray package and each "tray" makes 4 diamonds. Each diamond is the size of approximately a fingerling potato so they are great for adult beverages or for kids "fancy drink" at dinner (usually water but sometimes juice). Very easy to use silicone mold with lid using the included silicone funnel. These have saved the dinner drink woes for sure!
