I took a chance and lost. Look elsewhere for a numeric keypad.
I recently bought a Chromebook to do some simple work tasks, but I missed having a numeric keypad for rapid number entry. Most keypads seemed to be in the $20-$30 range and included additional keys I didn't want (such as a 00 key next to a 0 key), so when I saw this one, I figured I'd check it out. The price was low, and it was wireless. There were a handful of negative reviews, but I know that sometimes negative reviews can just be people's overreactions to a negative experience and reflect less on the product itself, so I took a chance. My numeric keypad arrived today, so I immediately installed a battery, plugged in the small wireless receiver into one of my Chromebook's USB ports, and tested it out. Everything seemed to work initially, although the buttons were a little mushier than I'd like for "chiclet"-style keys. But then about 10 seconds later, the keys stopped responding. It's as if the unit lost its connection. When I lifted the keypad up and placed it back down, the light turned back on and it seemed to work again. Then this happened again. And again. I thought maybe the battery was low on power, so I tried another battery that I knew was fresh and the same issue happened. I tried moving the receiver to a different USB port and still had the same problem. The product description specifically states that the keypad is compatible with Chromebooks, so if it's an issue because I'm using a Chromebook, then the product description needs to be updated. Bottom line: this keypad is NOT reliable enough to keep or use. The whole point of a numeric keypad is for rapid entry, and if the keypad has connection or transmission issues, then that defeats the purpose. From a build standpoint, the unit feels extremely cheap (which was to be expected at this price point)--super light-weight (which can be a good thing) with the aforementioned squishy keys. That didn't bother me as much since it's very low-cost, but since it doesn't seem to work consistently, that added to the feeling of buying a poor product.I will definitely be filing for a return/refund.

Works fine. You just have to remember to hit "num lock" to turn it back on if there's a lapse in usage. two issues I've discovered;1) If you use it in unison with a keyboard that has a "num lock" function on it as in it turns the right half of your keyboard (J,K,L) into a 10 key pad, then there's an issue with the two num lock functions fighting each other. If you turn on num lock on this keypad, then it turns it on on your keyboard and vise versa. A bit annoying.2) The more annoying problem I have is that the door for the battery compartment and USB dongle keeps falling off. If you pick up the keypad and move it, the door falls off. It's like the clip that is supposed to hold it shut juts out too far and snaps open when you put the keypad down.In conclusion, it's fine for what it does, I'm sure there's better ones out there, but for my purposes, it's all I need.

Works fine, but is a bit flimsy
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This Wireless Numeric Keypad works fine and comes in a compact, easy to transport package. A keypad like this is great for those with Tenkeyless or compact gaming style keyboards. You may not always need a number pad that takes up additional desk space and you can use an add-on like this when necessary. The keys themselves are a bit mushy with low travel distance, it reminds me of some chiclet style keyboards I've used in the past. I typically use mechanical switch keyboards so this required some retraining and adapting. The plastic construction feels a bit flimsy but I guess that does help the overall weight of the keypad. It takes a single AAA battery, the cover for the battery compartment opens a bit too easily imho. The wireless connection is through a included dongle that is stored next to the battery.

Keypad works, build quality low. Customer care great
Update: +1 star for customer service. The seller reached out to me almost immediately and offered a replacement unit. I'll update this review when it arrives. The keypad itself is okay. It installed easily and works well with my computer. I did not like the build quality of this product. The battery cover does not stay attached to they keypad; it constantly falls off. I had to put a piece of tape on it to keep it together. For some reason, my keypad is not balanced top-bottom / left-right. It's like a stool with one leg slightly shorter than the rest, the keypad constantly rocks as I type. The keys on the keypad have a long travel distance for their size. I was hoping for the short click like on a laptop, but these are more like a cross between a loptop and full mechanical keyboard. There's nothing wrong about that, it's just not preferred by me.

Cheap but works
It's cheap and it feels cheap, but it works. Not a bad thing if you just need something for a trip or a spare when you've lost yours. If you plan on using this for a while, you should upgrade once you get the chance. The keys are adequate, and it doesn't go through a ton of batteries. Though, it has no on and off button so if you slip it in a bag, the keys will be pressed and turn on, confusing you. The rubber bases often fall off, especially if you use this for awhile. And after about 3 months, it starts to give out and doesn't turn on when it should while the battery is as full as can be. But nonetheless, it allows you to punch in numbers on a spreadsheet for hours without breaking.

Never worked
This has never worked. I can't find where to contact the seller or return the item for some reason, USB says it is malfunction and I have tried numerous USB ports as well as 3 new batteries in the keypad. Ordering another one from a different company.

numlocks on laptops will be enabled when it is, turning half your letters into numbers.
Works good but have to turn it off after every time I use it or the letters on the right side of my laptop keyboard become numbers. A few hours of googling let me to the only real solution being to get an updated driver but this keypad has no drivers, so we're out of luck. It'd be good for someone that doesn't do a lot of back and forth between the 10-key and keyboard, but I enter a few numbers, then some letters back and forth all day so it isn't efficient for me.
