These are excellent! Gets them off electronics.
I read lots of reviews of different brands of magnetic tiles before purchasing this set. Those reviews had some pros and cons about lots of different brands and I am glad I read them and decided on these. My 3 year old and 7 year old grandchildren absolutely love them, the 7 year old shows me up by building better things than I do every time. I think the deciding factor of getting this set was that it came with the two little cars. That review said their kids loved them, and so do these kids. Also I had a chance to get a 60 piece set at Sam's wholesale for $50 but knew this 100 piece set was available for the same price so I made sure to get this one. There are plenty of pieces for these two kids. And it is so wonderful that it is something they love to do that doesn't require batteries, electric or chargers. If I had to list any cons I guess I would say we haven't figured out how to keep the plastic pieces in, but haven't really tried. Another would be that it came with a nylon storage bag, I think sometime in the future I will get a small rubbermaid type tub to put them in because it would set more neatly by their other toys and I just think that the bag could be too easily be dropped, maybe breaking a couple inside. I have never tried another brand and this set has plenty of pieces to keep them busy, maybe in the future I'll get another set, but they are really happy right now. Again, it's so great to have the kids doing something they like that doesn't involve screen time.

Loved the 100pc Magnetic Tiles Set so much we bought a 2nd one! :)
We all Loved this 100 piece Magnetic Tile Set (i.e. the upgraded-magnet version) so much that TODAY we ordered-AND-received a second one-- another: 100 piece Magnetic Tiles.. (Free 1 day Shipping.. YAY!)..! The 3 kiddos I bought these for ages: 4,6, & 9 and myself LOVE these magnets..!! In my opinion these are GREAT for all ages (even all of us older people) :) ...PLUS these tiles are strong magnets... strong enough to build and the right amount of strength to also tear down..remember—these magnetic tiles are not made to be set-up to be some permanent structure... magnets are fun to put together and take apart as well.. this set seems to have a good balance in my opinion. // These are the BEST Toys for my money-- as I the adult get to have fun with them too.. and it’s a simple project where you can talk with your kids— and they get all happy and excited with their Lil masterpieces— i.e. castles, garages, rockets, crazy cars etc. :) .. .. which is why I was okay with buying two sets.. Lol. This makes a nice Lil gift.. :)

Magnatiles vs. Playmags vs. Children's Hub -UPDATE
We have 3 different brands for a total of 5x 100+ piece sets. I thought a comparative right up would be helpful for anyone looking to buy a set, and having a hard time deciding. We have 3 boys, ages 7, 4 & 4. 3-4 sets is what they need to be able to build big structures and not fight over pieces.Magnatiles:Pros: Super expensive, quality is great, but the magnets sometimes clashCons: $$$$$$Playmags:Pros: Half the cost of the Magnatiles, super durable, works with all sets, strong magnets, and the quality is great, Great value for the price-pointCons: When you buy a 118+ piece set, there are a lot of those letter pieces + inserts (18) that are included in the count, which really means the kids are getting fewer magnetic piecesChildren's Hub -Pros: Lots of pieces, good price pointCons: Super thin pieces, I can already see that pieces have cracked and the kids are bound to break more. Magnets are nowhere near as strong. I don't think it was worth it. I would rather 3-4 sets of the Playmags, and buy a few larger support pieces/sets - and the kids will be thrilled.UPDATE: we received a newer set from children’s hub to try out, in response I believe to this post. They told me that they updated them and would like for us to try them out.We think they are a bit thicker and they indicated the magnets are a little stonger. While I think the changes are minimal, in watching the kids play with all of the sets together, it doesn’t appear to prevent them from playing —- at under $50, they should last through normal wear. No cracks on the new set! I will update after another few weeks.
