I prefer uni's adapters and cables to all the other brands I've purchased on Amazon over the years. Their gear is built to last, functions flawlessly, and is really nicely designed. I've purchased several of their adapters: two USB-C to Ethernet connectors, USB-C to USB 2/3 (both male and female), and three of these USB-C to Display Port adapters. I've not been disappointed once. If I need something and uni offers it, they get my money every time.

I dont know how long such a cable is SUPPOSED to last but I thought I'd tell prospective customers that I bought a 6ft cable to connect my MacBook Pro to a Dell monitor in Aug 2020; it worked beautifully; until the last few weeks during which it started needing to be unplugged and plugged back in constantly to get it to work; then started just failing to get signal and a few seconds later spontaneously finding signal again; and then just died completely a couple of days ago, Nov 2024.FWIW I went ahead and bought another one (3ft this time, dont need the extra length), plugged it in just now and all is well. I mean, I guess 4 years was good enough for me? Actually I would have liked to get 5 years life out of it, but then I was too lazy to research what other cable is good. Hence bought the same one again. Will letcha know how long this one lasts.
