Firstly I was issued some from my chiropractor after adjustment. I bought my own and have since recommended to my daughter.I used this for a herniated disk in my neck which was unbearably painful. This gel helped. It does smell strong and don’t need to massage it in as it states in the tube.Lasts for about an hour. Gentle cooling and some pain relief.Washes off easily.

This stuff is amazing for pain relief. Please be careful though as it is very strong, don't get it anywhere near your eyes. I use it all the time. Highly recommend.

Got for my wife to numb her nose before piercing. Worked ok if left on for 1 hour before.

I have used the gel it was very good for pain

Works very quickly, within a few minutes the pain intensity has reduced by around 50%. However the muscular pain is replaced by a burning sensation like deep heat. If the muscular pain went altogether, then the burning sensation would be acceptable. However, I am left with both. Taken in the round, I opt for the latter - less muscular pain / burning sensation on skin as opposed to not using it at all and living with the muscular pain, but it's not a perfect solution. The burning sensation eases after half an hour.Also it seems to wear off fairly quickly though that might be caused by clothing rubbing against the skin.It is not sticky like ibuprofen gel so I can roll my sleeve back down within a few minutes which is a positibve. It also has a menthol smell, which I don't mind.This product does do part of the job. When the pain is intense, I apply some biofreeze gel and take a couple of OTC pain relievers. The gel kicks in straight away, then the pain killers start to work. It's not a miracle cure, but it is another option for helping to manage pain. Will probably buy again.

Got this size to keep within the 100ml allowance for travel liquids. For painful joints or to cool down aching feet, this stuff is always my number 1.

Good temporary pain relief for my arthritic knees, it also helps with soreness in muscles and aches. Worth having in your medication cabinet.

Was initially amazed by this gel as it’s pain relief was very good but gel was quite messy to apply and I lost loads as it fell on the floor, down my front, onto the bed etc as unless you apply it quickly and then you have to be careful to wash your hands before touching anywhere else which is easily done as I found out to my cost ! I have now purchased the spray which is a lot easier as I can direct that to my neck and mid shoulder area or other awkward places !
