Worth the cost if you're not up for an induction kit.
Fitted to 1.8L Fn2 Civic. Easy to install, very slight improvement in induction sound. Definite performance improvement, feels a lot smoother pulling away in 1st and 2nd. Mass air flow readings went from 86 with stock filter to 100 with this filter. Feels very oily out the box, I understand why. Might give the MAF sensor a clean soon.

Always a fan of K&N, perfect fit to the OEM, you can see how much more freely it flows, put your hand behind this and blow you'll feel the air, do the same with a stock filter you'll feel nothing.
