2025 PREMIUM PRODUCT TruFlame 50inch Black Wall Mounted Electric Fire with 3 colour Flames and can be inserted (Pebbles, Logs and Crystals)

There are so many electric fires out there that look very similar if not identical. Reviews were helpful, I'd done plenty of research and comparing online, but purchasing this product was still a real gamble. Plenty of unknowns - how does the bracket fit? Is there even a bracket? The actual heat output is unclear, are the power requirements met by standard UK sockets? With the answers being a little vague, I still proceeded with purchase.Out of the box this was extremely simple to put together and set up - it perhaps took 10 minutes to be fully ready for wall-mounting, if that. The bracket is a roughly 24" strip of metal with two little lips that stick out which are supposed to hold the weight of the unit. This seems rather week when you look at it, but trust me they do the job just fine - once the main fireplace unit has been set up, you simply raise it above the lips of the wall mount and lower it onto them and plug in to the wall socket.The brightness of the flame is adjustable, the heat comes out of one main vent on the top middle front of the unit. If you're within 3 feet of it you will feel it kick out some good heat! If your room is about 14ft by 12ft and you are sat outside of 3 feet then it takes about an hour to warm up (depending on room conditions.)The remote control is very simple and easy to use.The flame effect is surprisingly good! Three choices of colour - orange (standard) blue, and Orange with blue.I paid £400 for this unit - I've had it for a few weeks now. I do not regret this purchase at all and the risk certainly paid off.The only thing I would say is that if you have it wall mounted, it is about 6 inches deep, thats how far it will come away from your wall - consider getting some ornaments to go on top of it. The heat comes from the front so it is safe to do so.

I discovered this fire whilst searching for a large electric fire that would sit flush in a TV wall I was building. Crucially it had to be able to kick heat out forwards and be OK to sit under a TV. This product ticked all those boxes. Delivery was quick and the fire was very well packed.The controls for the fire are a touchscreen area in the bottom right, which only illuminate when touched so you don't see them normally. There is also a handy remote for when you're feeling extra lazy.The fire now sits perfected in my TV wall, we use it everyday - mainly for the flame effect rather than the heat (although it kicks out some serious heat when required). Its a real statement piece and a fully recommend it.

Generally, we are very pleased with this wall mounted 50” electric fire. We recently moved home (late October) but bought the TruFlame well in advance ie June “22.Our only issue/concern - we went to change the “logs” effect to pebbles &/or crystals BUT there is NO insert/ledge to do this!!! The log effect is all one piece so, as no ledge, we cannot do this ….. hence a 4* review (that’s our only gripe).If we can be provided with an internal ledge to put the pebbles/crystals on then we highly recommend the seller and this fire!

The media could not be loaded. It’s always difficult to buy something when you haven’t actually seen it. Especially when it costs a lot of moneyBut I took a chance and so glad I did. Delivery all good. Kept updated regarding delivery etc.Husband and a friend installed it without any problems. Flames can be changed to different colours.Not going to try the pebbles etc that come with it yet. The heat from the fan is instant. Looks lovely very happy customer

I paid almost £600 for this fire and it lasted just under 2 yrs before it stopped working altogether. (You can now purchase the same fire from the same seller for less than £300.When I contacted the seller, who was also the MD, he wasn't the slightest bit interested in the faulty fire and couldn't answer any of the questions which I put to him about the fire, which made me very suspicious.My advice to other potential buyers is be cautious and be careful.I am now purchasing another fire from another company which is of a much higher spec at a lower price than I had originally paid.* He is also selling his fires on Ebay.

I was a bit sceptical about how this would look but I am amazed by how good the effect is. Install was easy as it was part of a false chimney breast project. Add on 5 millimetres onto the dimensions for the cut out to deal with the screw heads on the frame of the fire. Very simple to install. The heater is fine as a backup or to give a top up of heat but the flame effect makes the room feel toasty. My only minor annoyance is the beep when any controls are pressed.

I have only had fire operating last few days due to a delay getting false wall built, I am really happy with flame effect after researching similar types of fire and this one struck me as having the most realistic effect. I have been using with log effect rather than crystals as to my eye gives a warmer appearance. Although quite expensive in relation to smaller ones available the look that this fire gives to feature wall is certainly worth the investment made, I would happily recommend this fire to anyone, would also like to thank supplier who had item delivered by white glove delivery in the time frame promised. Have included a few photos.

perfect 10 we love it as do many others . we built the same tv and log unit we saw on here . the fire is able to warm our room 25ft x 14ft up in 15 mins to a nice heat you don't notice any sound while watching the tv . so easy to change the pebbles logs and crystals a 10 year old often does ours defo rec this fire ..
