Just what I needed to convert digital out from the TV to analog signal for my 20 year old hifi. My TV had a spare USB socket and I was able to power the box off that so this came with all the cables I needed. You need to remove the caps from the end of ths optical lead before fitting but that is easily done. Works flawlessly and sound quality of analog output is excellent. Superb value for money. Very happy customer.

Very simple to connect and use. Only problem was that the TosLink output on my TV was not volume controlled, so the volume was fixed. A better option, for me, would be a similar device, but with a remote volume control. Still, a nice compact unit with good quality sound.

Excellent product. Plugged it in, it worked perfectly. I connected the USB power cable to the 5V 1A USB port on the TV. I used this DAC converter to connect a BOSE Cinemate sound system which only has RCA inputs. My new TV has optical out. Now I have brilliant sound again!

Great little bit of kit which has allowed me to connect PS3 to my home cinema to play Blu-ray Discs for a few pounds rather than having to shell out for a dedicated blu-ray cinema system. Everything is contained in the box and connects and works in minutes. Power is taken from one of the usb sockets on the PlayStation. Only criticism is the very bright power led but a small piece of tape solves that. Recommended purchase. Can’t comment on reliability or longetivity as only installed it but I guess due to my infrequent use it should last a while.

Very easy to use - we're in rented property with an inherited LG TV that has only one HDMI in and digital coaxial out. As normal the TV's stand alone sound quality not the best so decided to route it into our Philips mini audio system that we use for DAB radio. Problem being the Philips units AUX in capacity is analog only so hence the requirement of this little OLRIKE adaptor. The unit was was delivered quickly I unboxed connected the TV's coaxial cable to the OLRIKE and then the OLRIKE's RCA outputs to the Philips mini system - switched everything on - selected the digital audio output on the LG's tv output selection and voila the TV audio appears straight away on the Philips AUX in selection. Nice little unit that does exactly as advertised.

Would be superb value if it worked and appears well made but the overriding issues as soon as it was installed was a constant background humming/buzzing. As it is this make it unusable. Just to note this was installed into a hi spec system with separate amp, stand mount speakers etc. Maybe I got a duff one or other people don't mind it but if they are all like this I cannot understand all the positive reviews.

Preso perché tv che ho preso ha solo uscita ottica per audio ma ho ancora hifi e cuffie wireless con entrate analogiche. Funziona benissimo e uso usb della TV per alimentarlo. Ha due uscite: RCA e Jack. Meglio di così a questo prezzo non si può avere.

Molto semplice da installare. Con pochi euro ho risolto il problema della mancanza di una uscita audio per cuffie dal mio smart TV. Comoda l'alimentazione tramite la porta USB del TV. Il cavo ottico è un pò sottile ma fa il suo dovere.
