Works as advertised but had some misgivings as to when it is in place for recharge after use, it maybe me but I always feel unsure, Next use it works so I guess it is me !

We needed replacement headphones for my husband who is deaf (and won't wear his hearing aids). He wanted to be able to adjust the volume on the headphones and also I needed the volume on the television turned right down. It was difficult to find these specific things but our son found these on Amazon. They are excellent and do precisely what we wanted - so I can go to sleep without the noise of the tv, while my husband can happily continue listening to his programmes. The headphones are sturdy and the charging is easy. Had a little difficulty in finding the correct connection to the tv and had to plug into the sky box. This means that if he wants to watch a dvd we have to move the plug to another outlet.

This item just didn't live up to expectations. Although it seems well made, the instructions are simplistic and leave things out - like why doesn't the light on the transmitter turn to blue during setup when there is no audio input. One is supposed to pull off the left foam cap GENTLY to expose the battery chamber. In fact this was so tight that I was worried that I was doing something wrong. Having eventually inserted the batteries, I then had a difficult task getting the cap back on. It took me a good ten minutes to realise that the holes in the cap were being covered by the 'skirt; of the foam covering and therefore wouldn't fit over the mating lugs. Not only that, there seemed to be a correct orientation which isn't pointed out in the instructions. The next problem was that there was an annoying echo on the left side which moved to the right if I reversed the headset. To add to my dismay, when I walked out of the room the sound became distorted and by the time I got upstairs it had stopped altogether. So much for the advertised reception distance. After three nights of listening to TV like this I couldn't bear it any longer and returned it to Amazon for a refund.

Headphones are good, however the charging system is a bit hit and miss. Twice now I have left my headphones to charge and waited till the charging light turned from purple to blue only to pick them up and have that intermittent beep indicating they are low again almost instantly. I only acquired the product in the last 2 weeks but I am not sure if the SUPPLIED batteries are faulty or the charging method.Considering I bought these for their wireless capability it is annoying not to be able know if they will be charged or not.

You might be thinking why 3 stars? its because the product isn't what it seems, the 30m range is in fact about 10m which is sad. but it has less range when you're below it so it goes to about 6-7m. they are light but also hurt after a while.if the volume is too low it cuts out to save battery I guess, but say you listen to music and before a beat drop. you normally miss half of it due to it cutting out 'to save battery', idk. but the price needs to be lower for this. it is useful but doesn't give the satisfaction you would want. if you want to have it in your room and you go to sleep, you have to manually turn it off there is no dim light nor does it cut off after a certain time. the sound is good but it has a certain high treble.

Headphones have a really good sound. Easy to connect. The reason I have only given 4 stars is because when I went to put the batteries in the earpiece it was quite difficult to pull a part.

Fast next day shipping. I can't live without my headphones. Follow the directions exactly and you will have sound from the headphones. On another note. I buy most of my ballcaps in the children's department. I am petite but my head is unusually small. I spent hours finding a cap for graduation and I still ended up stuffing paper towels in the cap because it was too big. I am thrilled that these headphones fit my head. They would be good for children also. All in all, I am pleased with this product. I like the sound of the headphones. Think it has a really good balance. I have been subjected to all kinds of loud noise working in an entertainment environment and my hearing is just not what it used to be. I can turn these up and not bother anyone.

The box with this in was resting for a full week by the waste bin in my home office before I opened it. I could have saved myself the trouble and just moved it sideways by 20cm and put it directly in the waste bin.The build quality is awful. The left headphone speaker conceals the batteries that must be installed - and the speaker cushion is held on with three clips - two of which broke taking off the cushion. Even after batteries installed it never paired with the base. It is now in the bin - I want so little to do with this I'm not even going down the refund route - I gain more satisfaction seeing it in the bin.
