It is really great for helping children with counting, number bonds to ten and subtraction. You can choose to keep the Penguins in their colour set or I prefer to mix colours to show number sentences visually- for example 6 pink + 4 blue equals what, then turn the ice bar around is 4+6 the same ? I am a KS1 teacher and have found this really useful.
