XviveU3 Wireless Microphone System 2.4GHz Wireless XLR Transmitter and Receiver for Dynamic Microphone, Audio Mixer, PA System (U3 Dual)

I was excited to try these with my small P.A. setup. I fully charged the devices and tested at home on a powered speaker and audio source. I also tried on an SM57. Sound quality is great. Changing the channels was easy. Also, it has a mic/line input switch, which is nice. The Y splitter charging cable was nice so you do not take up 2 usb ports. Here's my only issue. I used them on a parade float with a singing artist through my small p.a. I had the xvives connected from my digital mixer to my powered speakers. Everything was going well all the way down with people on both sides. The people were moving and grooving until we reached the main stretch. This is where there were a few thousand people with cell phones caused interference and caused the sound to go in and out. I was quick to run an xlr cable to get the sound back. I believe these are awesome with a low populated area since everyone uses 2.4G. I returned them and hoping for a 5G version to purchase.

I have used these things twice and both times they preformed as advertised. So much easier than 20 ft XLR cables to untangle and roll back up.

I was really skeptical when I initially ordered these but now I have several sets of them. They have literally changed my gig setup and breakdown and overall quality so dramatically for the better words aren't even adequate. I use them for my main speaker outputs from my board. Now I don't have cables running all over the place for people to trip over and it gives me a lot of freedom as to where I can place my speakers; as long as there's an outlet nearby I'm good. It also completely and totally changes the amount of time it takes to set up and break down because I'm not coiling dirty cables or trying to route them around furniture or through drop ceilings or anything. If you're a performer and you use XLR cables these "wireless cables" are amazing! The only thing you'll notice is that there is a reduction in signal so you have to increase your gain slightly if you're using them in "line" mode. They also can be used to make microphones wireless (which is their original intent purpose) in which case you would use them in "mic" mode which increases the gain. I now use them for that too so that my singers can use their own microphones and make them Wireless. Additionally the charge time is pretty reasonable at about 2 hours or so for a complete charge and they run my gigs on my mains for 5 hours without a problem and I have even stretched them much longer. This is an awesome addition to your gig setup! I have recommended these to many friends and theyve been thrilled! (no one is paying me to say this this is just one of those times where something is so awesome I want every performer to know it!)
