I love the globe. Got it for my daughters who are in 6th and 10th grade.Works just like as described in the description. Good quality. A little tricky to get it to float and stay in position.As for appearance it looks very nice. I would prefer the equator line not being so noticeable. I would also have liked an option for a langer version. A 6" diameter is okay, but being such a cool item a 12" or 18" version would be much more impressive.For kids, and them trying to balance the float it is a great challenge for them. Well worth the purchase. I recommend. I would buy again..

Just received this from Amazon and I’m really happy and impressed with how well this levitating rotation globe is working and you really shouldn’t believe the people who are totally ridiculous about how hard it is to get this globe to levitate since it’s not true at all I got this out of the box hooked it up in a matter of minutes and it took me under a minute to get it to levitate and I’m older with tremors in my hands due to nerve damage and I still got it done with no issue I had to laugh at one reviewer who said they couldn’t get it done or it takes all day to do it that’s completely absurd all you have to do is hold it 4 to 6 inches above the base and slowly lower or raise it till you feel it levitate and it automatically starts rotating on its own and hasn’t stopped so don’t listen to the people saying it’s hard to get it to levitate cause you definitely will be missing out I’m glad I didn’t listen to the negative reviews and I think it’s a quality made globe and would definitely purchase this again thanks to Amazon and Cicorfu great job and great product!

Got it to float 1 time, very cheap materials

The media could not be loaded. This is my third levitating globe and sure won't be my last. I got this one to teach my youngest children (ages:5&6) about the earth and the solar system. out of the box it's easy to setup. place the platform on a desk, connect the power plug to the platform and an outlet and holding the globe with both hands from the bottom, place the globe over the center of the platform and gently move it until you feel the magnets lock onto each other. (it feels like a small click). once that happens just move your hands away and enjoy the desktop ornament. my daughters love it. i had then shine a flash like at it to represent the sun, we made a moon out of foil, i showed them which direction the planet rotates and how it orbits the sun. they love just watching it and spin it for themselves and i taught them to place it on the platform as well. It's a great toy and teaching tool.

I would like to share a quick easy way to get the globe to float. After many frustrating attempts to get it to float, an Idea popped into my head. I just remembered that I had some bubble wrap with small bubbles. I took a piece just big enough to cradle the globe between my hands. I started about 12" above the magnetic base and slowly lowered the globe over the base until I felt it float.

Works perfectly, it even spins perpetually. The light inside the earth changes color and the light on the tray can be turned on or off. Its easy to set up unless you're like me and you have a tremor. I still managed to get it to float, just needed more patience. Love to sit and watch it spin especially when it's dark.
