VTech Playtime Bus with Phonics

Amazing Price! This is a lovely fun, educational toy, bought for my 20mth Granddaughter. However, I could not get the Letters to do Phonics. Finding the same problem in a store, I emailed Vtech direct. There Customer Services found out for me that you have to press the Letter button TWICE to get the phonics sound. The instructions on the outside of the box do not say that. As it is part of her Christmas present, I did not want to risk damaging the package to find manual. Vtech are looking into changing that. So pleased to have sorted it as my Ellie will love it. So much sound and buttons to press, any toddler will love having fun with it. Thanks Amazon.

I got this for my son when he was about 7 months old. He is now 1 year old and has never never grown tired with it. He doesn't understand the games or what the voices are saying but he DOES know that he can press interesting looking buttons and get a response! Now that he is on the move, he loves pushing it around everywhere with him. Its incredibly sturdy and has survived many bashes and crashes. The music is pleasant sounding and the voices are not annoying like the voices on many other talking toys. Very highly recommended for pretty much any age.

As the picture shows this toy does lots of different noises, keeping the 20month old amused for a while, keeping learning and playtime combo fun. English accent voice and clarity of sound. Came with batteries in. 2 volume options. Only thing left to say is that it will drive you bonkers - the song gets stuck in your head all blooming day. UPDATE - - - After a few weeks of heavy use, it started playing up. It sounded as if one of the buttons was stuck down and the tune was 'skipping'. Was going to return it, but brainwave - I replaced the batteries (AA) and its fine now. It didn't occur to me that the batteries would run out so quickly so I thought the item was faulty!!

great educational toy with lots of functions my little boy loves this

I was a little skeptical about buying this product due to age as it says from 1-3 years and my two are 2 1/2years. However they both love it - its great for them to roll around and has the educational factor as well as having music which actually is not to annoying as there are many different nursery clips and two sound volumes. One thing though it does not do phonics as it states it just repeats the alphabet but none the less a good buy :)

Whilst I prefer traditional wooden toys, there reaches a point in the afternoon when I need some help in distracting my daughter and electronic toys really help do this. The bus has lots of different sounds, buttons, etc, so even though my daughter is only 7 months old it's certainly very distracting for her. I think as she gets older it will come into it's own as she can then really start to play with it properly. The one downside is that the sound even on the 'quieter' setting is still really in your face and too loud, which is a shame and why I didn't give it 5 stars.

I got this for my 1 year old but my 2 year old enjoys playing with it too, I can see they will both get a lot of use out of it. I like that it combines alphabet and bus because with it being a transport that interests them and attracts them and they may be able to pick up their letters, whereas just a normal alphabet board they are less likely to bother with. It has lots of modes on it and seems pretty strong and unbreakable. The carrying handle on the back is also really useful. Even the songs are quite catchy, I don't find them too annoying. Very happy with it, would recommend.

Bought this bus for my grandson for xmas & he loves listening to the many different songs! He's a little young for some of the many different learning activities (18 months) but i'm sure they will become useful in the future!It is certainly value for money because of all the different activities & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this toy! It is sturdy, robust & easy to carry about!
