I couldn’t be happier with this Steam Deck case. The build quality is top-notch—sturdy enough to offer real protection, yet lightweight and easy to carry around. The interior is well-padded, and there’s plenty of room for the console, charger, and even a few extra accessories. I love the sleek design too—it looks great and doesn’t add unnecessary bulk. Zippers are smooth, and the handle feels strong and comfortable. If you travel with your Steam Deck or just want peace of mind at home, this case is a must-have!

The media could not be loaded. Great build quality. I definitely feel safe transporting my Ally X in this case. I enjoy the stand it produces as well, and noticed the stand does not block the air intake ports on the back of the Ally which was a nice touch.From the images in the ad it seems like the bottom storage portion has a lot of space to store things, but I've found with bulkier items (charger block, power bank) they need to fit in the middle so when the flap comes down the 2 bulges on either side aren't pressing on it. Otherwise your Ally will sit and move quite high on one side and it also makes it hard to close the case.I paired this with the JSAUX Hardshell Ally Cover/Case which works great as well. The major enhancement it provides that helps make this carrying case better is the Cover provides basically the same Stick grooves that the case does, so they fit perfectly together.Without my additional case on the Ally, and enough items in the bottom storage space I'm concerned it would push the Ally up far enough that the Joysticks would be pressing against the grooves on the interior of the case. Which of course would eventually damage them.The Ally itself (even with my additional case) does not sit snugly in its holder. It has room to slide around, which isn't such a bad thing since the velcro strap will hold it down but on mine the strap is held in place by my cases two Joystick protection areas sticking up, ensuring mine is always dead center. Without that there's a pretty good chance the Ally will slide to one side or another, again causing possible issues with the joysticks in the cases grooves. I will try to make a video to demonstrate.Otherwise 5 stars for sure after trying out a number of different cases off Amazon I found this to be the best.

It’s a bit tight with the dock, charger/cables, and power pack, but it still all fits. The recessed for the sticks are nice so they aren’t under pressure. I have the JSAUX grip/cover too and it all works well together.It’s not needed, but I’d recommend the grip/cover too.

So big it ends up heavy from everything I can stick in there (but that's a me problem, not a design flaw!).I've not dropped it yet, but the case feels thick and rigid enough to withstand drops.The star of this is the tray under the SD though. In my travels I usually fit in:- Large power bank- International travel adaptor- 2x bluetooth controllers (1x SNES style, 1x mini)- RG Nano (!)- Power adaptor that includes HDMI out (to connect the SD to TVs while also charging)- Various small gadgets for my phones and camera (eg usb adaptors and an extra charger)- Far too many cablesI could easily travel lighter, but this means I'm ready for pretty much anything, and the SD is never going to fall into the category of ultra-portable handheld!

I didn't do a lot of research on the Steam Deck when I bought mine. I was so excited, that I bought a few Jsaux accessories and wanted something to store it all in. I did not realize that the Steam Deck came with it's own case.The reality is that when my Steam Deck isn't in use, it rests on my Jsaux dock. I also purchased a Jsaux modcase with the travel cover, so cases aren't entirely necessary. The deck fits in this case well with the shell, but I'm not sure if it will with the cover.I could see this case being better than the official case while traveling as this case comes with a large storage area, which I assume is big enough for the charger paired with the official Steam Deck dock. It's too much space for the Jsaux dock, but still plenty of room for accessories. I would just need to use something to act as padding so it doesn't all rattle around.My Steam Deck feels well protected while in this case.

It provides good storage, it does not feel like a good quality or that it would protect against a drop,but I have my device with another case so I just want the extra space.
