If you've ever wondered what your Kobo might look like if you DIY'd a screen protector out of a slightly thicker cling film material this is definitely what you are looking for. This product excels at showing how many visual annoyances can coexist on one Kobo tiny display.The primary purpose of this slightly thicker that cling film screen "protector" appears to be to maximise the number of bubbles it can accumulate on your screen at one time, none of which will disappear unless pressure likely to break the screen is applied; after which they will spring back anyway. The secondary purpose appears to be its uncanny ability to accumulate fingerprints and smudges.I'm definitely no materials engineer, so take the next with a pinch of salt, but I cannot see something so thin and flimsy is going to protect anything its place in front of. You can liken this screen protect to the plastic film they stick to glass to keep shattered bits together.This thing is the epitome of security theatre. DO NOT BUY!.

Screen protector was nicely matte but I realized that they gave me a screen that has defect to it. I was wondering why the bubbles wont go away, but turns out there were tiny hole dents on the screen itself. Very disappointing.
