I like pass through terminating plugs and these are decent quality. They work well with the Avartek crimper and I never have a duff connection now.

Nice connectors
Bought these to replace some dodgy ones I had received bundled in a crimping kit. These connectors are great. So far I have made up a few cables and haven't yet had a single one fail to crimp properly. So, so far 100% success rate.The pass through design means you can easily correct any wires that accidentally flip over while you were trying to insert them into the plug (it happens). Very happy to make my acquaintance with pass through connectors (note, they will need a crimping tool designed specifically for pass through connectors).The other thing I like is the nice plastic case they come in. It has a locking mechanism to stop the case accidentally opening up. Really like it.I'm not sure if the suppliers are reading these comments, but if they are, can I suggest that on the back of the case label, i.e. the side seen when you open up the case, you could print the wiring colour codes for the Type A and Type B connectors. Not a big deal at all, but I thought it would be a nice, practical idea to improve your product. Otherwise well done.

Don't seem to work well with solid core?
Listing states they are for solid or stranded, but I tried several different solid core cables and it didn't seem to like them, they'd either not work at all or have to be held at a funny angle to make a connection.

Seriously do not buy.
Seriously do not buy these. I've had nothing but issues with them.When you crimp them the connectors clearly do not go deep enough. I've went through about half a box and didnt get a single one to work.Went back to nornal rj45 connectors without the passthrough. The quality of life that these were supposed to prove are actually nothing but a headache.
