Very sharp
This knife is sharp, I took the knife and reshaped it and it’s like a razor, I sliced a tomato in 1/16 slices and did it effortlessly. The quality is awesome. I was hesitant to get this because of the price but now I am definitely glad I got it. The factory edge is sharp but I put my own edge on any knife I buy. You won’t regret buying this knife

Not The Greatest, Not The Worst
Firstly, this is not a set, it is one carving knife, and it is a pretty, with the black carbon (painted?) detail, but average carving knife. I had hoped for a bit finer blade, and I have already found the blade hard to clean. I sliced a Pizza with this knife to check it out with different textures, and had to really work at removing the cheese from it. When I carved a roasted chicken, it did better, but did not slice as thin as I had hoped, and ended up shredding some of it, rather than finely slicing. It was sharp enough to cut through the dense breast meat, but not consistently. It was not a nicely carved bird, but it was sliced, sort of. I am not sure if the blade is stainless, but I hesitated on soaking this anyway, due to the walnut handle. Only time will tell if it gets rusty. All is all, this carving knife has a neat look, but did not impress me. It is an average kitchen knife, but then again it is a bargain knife, at under $20.00, so value for dollar would be about right. If you need an inexpensive utilitarian knife that is handsome, and does an adequate job in your kitchen, buy it, just don't expect it to be a "precision" chef's tool.
