Ok look...I am not a review writer. I normally enjoy success in silence. But THIS product deserves a review. If I can help just one person make an educated purchase, then I've done a small justice for the world. I had extremely low expectations. I've had professional laser hair removal for my face several times in the past. It was expensive. I think I spent a total of $1500 dollars on it and, yes it worked extremely well, but it was so painful for me. A little history: I have PCOS, but it manifests in a very atypical way. The only "textbook" symptom I have is excess facial hair. And let me tell you, it's very noticeable when left untreated. Well, unfortunately, I'm also someone that reacts horribly to laser hair removal. I legitimately have an allergic reaction to the laser. I get weird raised bumps and whiteheads and my face swells super bad. So, after doing it for about a year, I couldn't handle the pain and recovery anymore. When my face healed, my skin looked amazing. The blemishes from constant tweezing and picking even cleared up and I got so many compliments on my skin. But, as most may know, no hair removal is permanent and since I gave up on the laser hair removal, my hair slowly started to regrow in thickness. It's bound to happen since I have higher levels of testosterone. I had been pretty desperate for an alternative treatment. I had gone back to tweezing and shaving, but the hair grew back quickly and my skin was just getting damaged again. I did pretty extensive research and decided to take my chances on this device. I really didn't have anything to lose but a few hundred bucks. To my surprise, it worked. Now, I don't know if it worked well because of my history with laser hair removal and perhaps the follicle was already altered. I also went against all advice and for the first several weeks I used it almost every day on the highest setting. I do not recommend everyone do this, as I did this at my own risk, and I was well aware of the risk I was taking. But my threshold for pain is high and let me tell you this was nothing compared to the pain that I had felt with professional laser hair removal. I almost enjoy the slight popping sensation that it gives when in use. My only regret is that I didn't take before and after photos. I really wish I could show proof of efficacy. My advice is for anybody that uses this, be patient, the results are not instant but they are quick. I think I noticed a big difference within the first couple of weeks. Again, I took a risk and utilized it every day. I do not recommend that, but for me it worked and it didn't cause any complications. I am down to using it about every other day to every couple of days. I am now to the point where I am maybe tweezing one or two hairs on my chin and only shaving the days I use this device because shaving is a requirement prior to use. But if I didn't have to shave prior to using this device, I probably wouldn't at all because there's zero hair growth. I am not exaggerating at all. Beyond the couple of hairs that I'm tweezing here and there, I see no more hair growth. This is coming from somebody that was practically growing a beard. My facial hair has been my only real insecurity - because admittedly - I'm conventionally attractive, so I've been told. I'm in great physical shape, I have conventionally attractive features, so concealing this embarrassing issue has been quite the challenge. This honestly saved my life. I know that seems a bit dramatic, but I was feeling very hopeless in getting rid of the hair growing from my face until I stumbled across this. I am so much more confident now that I no longer even wear makeup to try to conceal the 5 o'clock shadow that I was experiencing towards the end of the day. I'm not guaranteeing that my results are the standard or that anyone else may experience similar results. For all I know I could be a huge exception or an anomaly. But I can say with full faith and confidence that this definitely helped me, and if you're in any type of position that I was in, you understand that feeling of hopelessness. If you're already at that point of hopelessness then what do you have to lose by trying it out?

Easy to use, and it works! Just put on the glasses, turn on the device, and click the button as you go along your shaven skin.I have actually received many laser treatments at a professional place before, so I was worried that this one would not work as well (the at-home lasers are generally much weaker than the professional grade ones). However, even on skin that has received laser treatments on the highest setting at a professional place, this thing works! It doesn't work just with one treatment, but it really does keep the hair from growing back for a while if I do it even just once every week or several weeks.Highly recommend! I don't have to pay tons and tons more to go to a professional clinic again.

This product needs to be used consistently for over a month. I did so and it did not work. Might be because of my hair color. I looked at the skin and hair tone and enclosed booklet and thought It was worth me trying the product. It was only after 45 days when I found it did not work, I realized that the Amazon return. Had expired. Ulike will only accept returns if th product is purchased from their official website.UpdateAfter emailing Ulike and receiving the message that I do not have the 90 day guarantee because I did not purchase from the official website. This review on Amazon received attention. Once Ulike contacted me, they offered a refund and did so quickly. I appreciate them making this right, but still encourage Amazon to note on the description that the 90 day guarantee seen online is only if purchased through the UIike website.

Liked the autoglide feature, the compact size.Have to use the device every other day to achieve the same results as other devices provide when used once a week.The extra packaging designed to make the product look more premium or luxury was totally unnecessary.

Gentlemen, I have dark coarse hair on my chest and stomach. As a man this is pretty normal. but I usually shave it off and deal with the irritation that comes with it. This thing works! It takes time and you have to use it like it says to, but in a few weeks you'll have less and in a few months you'll have none. No, it doesn't "hurt". More like a little flick to the skin under the light when it pulses. I didn't get any irritation from it, just from shaving before using it. After a few tries I just started trimming really close instead to avoid razer burn and it still worked. Not sure how long the hair can be. I cut pretty close to skin, but there was stubble and it still worked well. Highly recommend if you're sick of that unwanted hair. Read the directions, make sure to look away while flashing, and just be systematic about it. It really doesn't take very long to use it on a pretty good sized area like a chest and stomach. Sorry ladies, not going to try it on my bikini area to write a review for you.

Use it consistently and it works! Fastest results on the finer hairs on my face. Slower on under arms but has gotten rid of my in growns!Slows hair regrowth, hair grows back finer or not at all.I read a lot of reviews before selecting Ulike. The sapphire cooling in the flash window is key to allowing you to not burn your skin.The glasses broke about a year in and they sent me replacements. So A+ customer service!
