Just installed it. So far so good!
The hardest thing on installing this was REMOVING the old chandelier in our dining room which is now converted into an office. This is pretty light so it was easy to work with. Connecting the wires was super simple (make sure to turn OFF your power in your home though if you do this on your own). My only negative feedback is although this light is pretty bright, it is not THAT bright . My room is about 14 x 14 so it's pretty decent sized and it lights it up for what I need as an office, but feel it COULD be brighter. In any case, it looks nice and easy to install so 5 stars. Will review again in 6 months if it's still working (it better be!). Oh, the remote control works great. Just follow the instructions to pair it and it's all good. Pretty cool to adjust the color temp and dimming.

Awesome light and excellent value
This reviews if for the 48 Watt fixture. Assuming it's reliable, this is an awesome light and excellent value. Itβs made in China, and the cost cutting is apparent in the materials used, but it serves the purpose for which it was made better than fixtures I've paid two or three times as much for. Not sure how bright a light you want? No problem as this one is dimmable from extremely bright to a soft glow. Not sure what color temperature you want? No problem as this one is selectable from soft white to daylight.Given the size of this fixture there's no attempt to allow it to be mounted to the ceiling by screwing into the electrical box. Rather, there are holes at each corner where it's screwed to the ceiling using plastic inserts into dry wall / plaster and then expanded when the screws are turned in. Given the low weight of the fixture there's little danger of it coming loose over time. The installer used about 10 inches of extra wire to run from the wires in the electrical box into the fixture through a rather small hole in the metal base provided for the wires. The installer added an insulating sleeve where the wires run through the hole and also opted to use conventional wire nuts to connect to the circuit rather than the spring clips it comes with. From reading another review I knew how to pair the remote with the light. Just turn on the power to the light and within 5 seconds press the setup button on the remote. The light flashed in response and from then on I could adjust brightness and color with the remote.

Nice lights; but problems with remotes, and wrong product shipped at first
OK, so the first time I ordered these, they shipped me 2 pieces of the 36 Watt lights instead of the 48 Watt lights. I didn't even have to open the package to determine that, as the label on the outside of the boxes clearly stated that they were 36 Watt lights, and theboxegs were square rather than rectangular and could not have fit the longer 48 W lights. To their credit, the company immediately credited the charge back to my credit card account. I then ordered the lights again, and this time the correct lights arrived. They were easy to install and worked when I turned on the wall switch. But I could not initially get either of the remotes to work. Eventually I figured out that the battery compartment had incorrect markings for the + (positive) and - (negative) battery terminals. So when I first put the batteries in according to the markings, nothing happened and the lights on the remotes did not light up. I then reversed the directions of the two AAA batteries, and - Voila! - the light lit on the remotes when I pushed a button, and the lights went on and off.The next problem was figuring out how to set up the remotes. The instructions were confusing, but after consulting some of the reviews on Amazon (of the single light version of the product) I got the remote to work. The third problem was that after changing the light color and intensity with the remote, I turned off the light with the wall switch and back on, and the light did not come back with the correct color an intensity that I had set it to with the remote, even though a couple of reviewers said that the light should "remember" the remote settings when you use the wall switch instead of the remote to turn the light on and off. I finally figured out the problem. It turns out that if you turn the light off with the wall switch and then quickly - within a few seconds - turn it back on, it apparently will default to one of the "standard" color and brightness settings (warm white, cool white, bright white), and you can cycle through these by quickly flipping the wall switch on and off several times. However, if you turn it off with the wall switch after setting the color and intensity with the remote, and then wait at least 5 or 6 seconds before turning it back on, it does go on again with the setting that you had programmed into it previously with the remote. So I guess that is a "feature" rather than a bug, enabling you limited control of the changing of the color and intensity from the wall switch without having to reach for the remote. However the remote gives full control by allowing a more or less continuous change from warm white to bright white to cool white, doing this by gradually changing the intensity of two different colors of LEDs that are set up in 48 pairs arranged in 3 linear strips, 16 pairs in each strip. The physical appearance of the lights is in my opinion very attractive. It has a white diffuser covering the base & LEDs that IMO has a pleasing shape. The base is low profile and unobtrusive. The the lights are on it is almost impossible to see the base, and when off it looks like a shadow line of maybe 1/2" or 3/4" height against the ceiling, inset from the outer edges of the diffuser. All in all a nice looking light, and reasonably bright. We have two installed in our relatively large kitchen, which is about 15' x 20'. They give plenty of light for general lighting in the kitchen, though we also have installed under-cabinet LED lights and an over-the-sink LED strip light to give more directed task lighting along the countertop and sink areas.

Remote wouldn't pair with light...and from what I've read it's a pretty common thing, but if you got a switch it's nice and bright
